Following your video, I ordered the flexi rods from amazon today. I have very straight and (according to my hairdresser) very healthy hair. She said she the reason why my hair doesn't do what I want it to is because it is "too" healthy. I think your hair always looks very healthy as well, so here is to hoping that these flexi rods will give my hair the texture and volume I would like to have once in a while. --- Loved the star wars tutorial btw :)

Nice! I've been using flexi rods since 2013, but your application method is very different than mine, and I should definitely try yours out to see what sort of results I get with it! My hair is wavy with spirals so it holds curl no problem, but the flexi rods definitely help to tame and shape the hair nicely, and without heat!

+Gracie Tuxy that usually happens if you pull it too tight at the base of the curl. Try wrapping it looser at the base of the curl and then tighter as you go along.

you can do a high ponytail with a very thin hair tie and then start using the flexi rods. I usually only use two or maximum 4

I usually use my straightener over the kinks if that helps, or I spray some water over the bumps and blow dry it away :)

Awesome! I wish heatless curls would last on my hair. I've tried many variations of heatless curls, but they only last a couple hours on my hair, whereas those I would achieve with a curling wand always last on my hair.

I kind of do the same technique for heatless curls but instead of the rods I use long socks and wrap my hair around a sock and then tie it. And then I usually sleep on it and take it out in the morning 😋

My hair gets so frizzy when I try to do heatless styles, and if I use an oils afterwards everything just falls flat. Maybe the lotion will help with that.

I hope I am not the 200 person to say this but one tip I use when I use setting lotion is put it into a spray bottle and water it down. So you could add it to your water bottle and cut out another step😊 thank you for your videos!!!

Hey Kayley! I love your videos and this one i loved so much I went and order some flexirods the first time I saw it (I live in Brazil, and I couldn't find them here). So now they arrived, I watched it again and did the step by step. But the thing is, the flexirods do not stay put on my hair as well as they do on yours! They slip even when I put on some bobby pins, and it's almost impossible to sleep in them without them completely falling off my hair. Do you have any advice? My hair is much shorter (shoulder length) and heavier than yours, could that be it?
