i have way too many hobbies i want to start or continue doing (crocheting, drawing, reading, jewelry making, journaling, etc.) but i haven’t had the time recently or whenever i do have the time i end up wasting time on my phone :( but my goal this summer is so pick up all these hobbies again 💗

deleting some of the social media, even if only for a short time, could help you with that. They made these apps so addictive, but in the end, there is only little value scrolling nonstop. This little trick did help me too :D
@puddytat97525 ай бұрын
I've recently downloaded Habitica (again) to help with this. I can earn rewards for cooking, crocheting, writing, etc, but I can lose all of my progress towards them by going on social media. I'm having a really good time with it so far!

I think turning your hobbies into a habit or part of your routine helps. You can journal in bed every night or decide that Saturday mornings are the days you journal about your week or whatever you want to journal about. For reading I personally have small goals like never going more than three days without reading. Even if I only read four pages it still counts. It takes the pressure off me, and without realising it, it became a habit of mine that I didn't have to think about to follow. As for drawing, I struggle to find time for it too, but I did get gifted a nice sketchbook last Christmas which I've been drawing in. They aren't elaborate drawings, or fill the whole page, and sometimes I don't even finish them, but whenever I have time, feel inspired, or simply am bored I draw sketches of insects, plants and flowers in it. It's what I mainly like drawing so that's all I ever do in that sketchbook. Simplicity and taking the pressure off yourself to do these things consistently will help you go back naturally to the things you want to do. Trying out loads of things is great, wanting to do all these hobbies is great but you don't have to. There's nothing wrong with not doing them all the time. I love writing and I've been so busy this year that unless it was an assignment I haven't written anything in around 8 months. I wish I could do it more but at the same time it's okay. There's no rush, I can always go back to it and I'm still a writer even though I haven't written in ages.

Tottaly agree on it and we people shouldn't ever put too many pressure or too many things in our life cause at some point were just end up like,not be able to do all this things that we wanted to do or we fell like we have to do and because we don't have sufficient time in life for everything we end up feeling frustrated for not be able to do all this things at once,so don't be to strict to yourself and don't put too much pressure on yourself and your life cause we are humans we are not perfect it's totally okay to just have a few days to relax sometimes because were not feeling like doing anything or whatsoeve. So instead try to first focus only one hobby or one thing at the time,for example during 2 weeks you crochet were in the other 2 following weeks you do only drawing for example just stick to one at the time or instead try to chose a few 3 or 4 different types of hobbies for example and make it as a daylly habbit routine,practice.

Concerning doing your nails, please always wear a mask to prevent inhaling all the toxins. I've heard from manicurists that after years of doing people's nails, some people now have lung cancer while they never once smoked

awesome video. I work two jobs and it wasn't until I started the 2nd one that I realized working can't be life. I had a whole bunch of things I used to do that I felt guilty doing because i was school and now I see those things are important because they bring me joy. I have decided to quit my second job and just keep life simple. go back to my reading, language learning, and writing. it's just crazy that i've been saying this for weeks and today I log on and your video is the 1sst thing I see.

I felt this on another level. I feel like i have way too many and that drains me and it is a problem because it is physically imposible to keep them all. I was into coding/tech, reading, journaling, learning a language and video games and i also ended up buying a guitar and a graphic tablet which ended up being unused and this summer i plan to sell my guitar and graphic tablet ( i need an ipad anyway) because i feel like others are more important. I do love music but i realised i d prefer singing or a piano more than a guitar (sounds better imo, it s easier and fingers would not hurt)
