About the plant butter: It's margarine, but it can be substituted for dairy butter because of its comparable water and fat content. Water content and fat percentage is what accounts for the major differences between shortenings/lard, butters/stick margarines, and most soft 'tub' margarines*, and both of those factors hugely impact cooking and baking results. There are flavour and colour variations, too, but some are for reasons that might not seem immediately obvious, like how the milk solids in butter brown, and how the difference in the melting point between shortening and butter affects how your mouth perceives the flavours carried by the fats and whether the food leaves a 'greasy/coated' feeling on your tongue. (I make 'butter' toffee for my vegan sister, and through a lot of research and experimentation and many failures, actually came up with an acceptable substitute for Skor bars.)☺ *There are always exceptions. In Canada, there used to be a Lactancia tub margarine that was spreadable when cold, but sufficiently hydrogenated that it baked like butter (and contained dairy, so the flavour was good); and Earth Balance tub margarines here are very firm, and I've successfully used them for candy-making.

I do a cookie swap where everyone brings a couple dozen of one kind of cookie (no chocolate chip). Then you fill up a container with all the different cookies. We also swap recipes. It's amazing!

The no bake chocolate cookies are my firstborn son's FAVORITE cookie! He loves them SO much that I have to make an entire batch just for him. Not sure, but I think he eats them all within two days. They are delicious aren't they???? YES, make the butter pecan ice cream video!!!

The following is our fave cookie recipe. So much so that I have mixes prepped and labeled in mason jars. We just add the wet and the sugar when making. I love pizzelles my mom makes them and wraps them around old fashioned wood clothes pins and fills them with italian cream and dips the ends in nuts I mean I love them plain with powdered sugar but her way is amazing

I just spent the last two days baking Christmas treats! I'm officially done for this year...but...I may have to make these babies! I make Kimmy's (She's in her Apron) Italian Christmas cookies every year, magic cookie bars, double chocolate fudge cookies, sugar cookies, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies with salted caramel chips, microwave fudge, traditional chocolate chip cookies with salted caramel chips and chocolate balls. I sometimes do a wild card one...this year I thought this was enough...now I'm not so sure...so thanks a lot!! Merry Christmas!!

Easy one cake mix. 1 Stick of butter 1 egg . Any cake mix and any kind of chip or dried . you wanna mix in . One year I had a lot of cake mixes I need to used up. I found that recipe. I did white with blueberries and cranberries and white chocolate chips . they were awesome. And chocolate with mint chip. Spice cake mix with butterscotch chips. It was so easy with the kids in the family

We love no bake cookies in out family! My grandma has been making them since we were kids & they always get devoured at family get togethers!!! I found this recipe a couple months ago and they are so so yummy!!! If you love peanut butter these are a must, they are so soft and delicious and the filling, ugh so good!
