Yum, my mother used to bake bread all the time, she would save the butter wrappers in the freezer and then use those to butter the top, very frugal lady! I just might have to try it myself. Thank you.

First try, I accidentally used yeast I needed to activate, so I didn't get much of a rise. However, my family loved the taste and we ate both loaves. I bought INSTANT yeast and tried again tonight, and it was a success!! Thank you!! The house smells amazing.
