Just wanted to say thanks for sharing. I mostly followed this tutorial to make my daughter a set of horns so she could be Maleficent at her 3rd grade Fairy Tale Ball. She loves them!

I just made these for my 8 year old daughter for halloween and I cant thank you enough!! Best idea and execution ever! Mine looked a little different than yours because paint wasn't drying and time was of the essence! We got so many compliments on that headpiece I was just ecstatic about how well it came out! Especially for the first time! I wish I could post a picture of them, I have no idea how to if there even is an option LOL

I love your "spray paint" area, already blackened with the paint from other projects. 'Cause that's what you have to do with spray paint. It gets everywhere! Those horns turned out so nice. And I didn't realize they could be so easy.

First time ever making horns and I used this method, kind of tweaked them to my own liking and such but they look great! This was a really easy tutorial to follow. I suggest if you don't want to wrap glue around it all to just use masking tape or I used electrical tape, couldn't find the masking tape. Otherwise, really awesome! And if you want to add your own things to it, you can cut some long acrylic nails to add scales!

So, I've watched a lot of you horn tutorials and I was curious if there was a different band or clip you can attach the horns on? Im don't want the band to be noticeable at all so I was curious of any suggestions you had.
@brothlcreeprs
@brothlcreeprs 8 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't recommend using clips as the horns might be a bit too heavy and droop, so would a thinner, plastic band be any better than an alice band? Also, what sized horns are needed?

Homestuck is a burning decaying corpse of a thing I don't even wanna come near anymore. The community and it's cosplayers are sooo toxic.

You have a point but most of them aren't nearly as bad as Homestuck. Especially it's cosplayers...
@thesailingshipofcreek5862
@thesailingshipofcreek5862 6 жыл бұрын
True, but there are alot of good people in the Homestuck fandom too, it's just that group of people who give the fandom a bad name
@limeproductions7873
@limeproductions7873 6 жыл бұрын
Well see that's the thing with every other fandom, groups of bad apples that spoil the bunch. The difference with Homestuck, however, in my experience is that there are just way more bad apples than good ones.

Hi! I really love all your cosplay tutorials, they always turn out fantastic! So, i thought i would ask you for some advise; i'm gonna Go to My first ever con, and decided to Go as dany from game of thrones! Her blue wedding dress from when she's in quarth looks easy enough for a first timer, so i want to give it a Go! Now, i'm a very good seamstress, so no prob sewing the dress itself, But the gold belt and shoulder pieces is abit of a picky :/ how would you make wearable pieces that's suppose to look like gold? I've seen many do it in worbla, wich looks nice But is too expensive for me with shipping to iceland :( i was thinking about the hot glue Gun method you use alot, do you think that would work? Thank you for your help! And sorry for long comment! Ingrid
