Easy Knit Fair Isle Hat: knitting for beginners

I need to learn about the anchoring of the stitches, as the hats I just did have a 5 stitch stretch. And I want to use a wool yarn as well, and have not used wool yet. It is a beautiful hat, the pattern and the yarn.
