Everything else has been easy to follow but I’m a little confused on the elastic part? How do you go from having a loop on one end and 2 strings on the other to only ending up tying 2 strings to finish it off? I feel sort of stuck ):

Thank you for this great video, but i have a question, for me its not possible to pull the yarn from the "cast on row" for a smaller hole and i do exactly the same like you🤔

Hi Kate, thank you so much for watching! Both ends of your piece (cast on and cast off sides) don't necessarily have to shrink. As shown on minute 7:33 you sew them together with the yarn tail from your cast off and finish with a knot. As the scrunchie closes, this part is hidden, (and since it's not really that visible) you don't have to worry to much about your stitches as long as you have them secured with a tight knot. If you still want to make your cast on row tighter, you can try to adjust them with the remaining tail from the cast on by running it through each of these stitches.
