Great build. Curious how the pole did in the water. Did the Velcro hold it in place or did you have issues with it "traveling" due to waves or wind?

Great mount for livescope doing one myself . One thing I see if you would have left some of the shaft stick up out of the motor you could have mounted a direction indicator on top of it . Nice clean build you gave me some excellent info Thanks .

Thanks a bunch! 👊🏼 as far as indicator I didn’t figure I needed an arrow as I know the transducer is pointed directly out from the handle. I could paint or sticker an arrow but didn’t see it necessary .

With the right end caps (smaller pipe), you could use them, instead of the short pieces of pipe on the "T". That way, you would have a "Closed T" mounting block. (I'll be making a sonar directional mounting pole for my Garmin Live Scope, as soon as I can AFFORD the Transducer - that is!). Lol

Great idea. Gonna try something like this on my Yak. Do you find the transducer handle big? Or it gets in way?

You can cut it to the length you want. I made mine a bit shorter so that it wouldn’t be in the way. That’s what is so nice about diy.
