Rafaela, you often show your paint cones with Amsterdam paint. Do you add a medium to it to get the right consistency? How much medium do you use? Mine ends up too thick and I get little points sticking up, or it's too thin and the dots spread. Please help. Also, you make placing all those dots look so easy, but I know it is not.

Hey! The only acrylic paint I use in the cones is Amsterdam. never added medium, I get the little points when my cones start to get old, but after several months... before dotting, make sure you remove some amount of the paint at its tip, that paint will be dry and create the annoying sticking up dots!

Hey! Thank you!!! Its got 40 dots per row and 26 rows, with 26 rows it will merge perfectly on the last row. But if it doesn’t, it really isn’t important. Are you watching on mobile phone? Hi Patty! great question! Yes, I let the dots dry multiple times, especially with egg-shaped mandalas, started painting this mandala idea last Sunday, so by Tuesday, I was ready to record. This approach helps me and my team (camera and video editor). In the meantime, I’m also working on four projects, including Etsy orders!
