Always loved the flat top grills. You’re right they work best for thinner cuts. Pro tip if you haven’t used it yet, get you different sized stainless steel lids to cover veggies and a squeeze bottle of water..steam cooks great and perfectly melts cheese on burgers 💪

We have the Blue Rhino Griddle Grill. Ground beef on there is the best. My kids prefer it over the stove top.
