Hey everyone. The on screen text that appears at 27:26 was inadvertantly shifted on the timeline when I edited the video at the last minute. The reference to the "8mm beads" is for the blue swirl beads I used in the middle coil. Sorry about that. 😊

I just love your design. I have been inspired by you as my favorite designer for the last 2 years. Just just love you. And for all of you out there I wanted to let you know that I myself purchased the bead buddy and now I would not make a memory wire bracelet with out it. It part of my everyday tool box. Give it a try. Thanks for sharing

Thank you so much for this video. I make a lot of bracelets with memory wire and I love them. No measurements, no clasps. They also make great gifts. Thank you for the new ideas. I do the same starting loop like you.

I absolutely love my coil buddy! If I’m not making a memory wire bracelet, I still use the rods, they make my projects so much easier. Your bracelet is so beachy. One of my favorite color ways is blue and green. Thanks for this tutorial Luisa and I hope more people see how helpful the coil buddy is, I honestly love mine!

I have to laugh as I use my coil buddy and magic rods every day to design necklaces... and still haven't made a memory wire bracelet with them! Lol. Those are some very versatile and useful tools you've invented. Thank you 😊

Another lovely design, Luisa. I love that color pallet. I was just thinking that along with being beachy, what a pretty Spring bracelet this would make -- and then you said the same thing! Great minds, right? Thanks for sharing.

Hi Luisa! 🌞 You know something, I've never tried memory wire but I'm going to now. It's fast especially with the coil buddy and of course your amazing Rods! I hesitated using memory wire because it looked like it might be a bit difficult. My poor credit card just moaned lol But in for a penny as they say. So Luisa, thank you so much for all the hard work you do in helping us design and for your warmth especially! You take care dear Lady 🦋🦋🦋

Omg I've decided to make the memory wire bracelets for gifts for family members for gifts. Your tool that u made is amazing. I'm new to making jewelry with memory wire and I didn't know that they had different sizes for strength to hold beads on them. I did think that they probably would because of the weight of the size of beads and type of stone. Thanks so very much. I've learned soooooooo much from you. I'm so very greatful that you share your talents and beautiful jewelry creations with me.

Luisa, thank you for the lovely videos. Your music is relaxing and inviting. I alway enjoy your choices. This bracelet turned out so pretty. I’m inspired to make one with my Curated box too. For some reason, I learned a lot more about your rods and coil buddy from this video. I just started using my set (which I’ve had for awhile) and I’m going to order more rods since I like to start & stop projects. The rods are really useful. Having a place to store them with the coil buddy when not in use is a bit challenging. Any ideas will be welcomed. Also, please tell me where to buy the bead caps, especially the filigree ones. Thanks!

Really enjoyed this video! I’m going to send for the Coil Buddy and rods! I’m really excited! I can see how much easier it is to use these to make bracelets! You explained this so well! I’m waiting for my first box of Curated beads in these colors! Your coil buddy and rods make it so much easier and takes the guess work out of the number of beads used! So beautiful and thank you for telling us the number of beads too!❤️🙏😀

Hi there! I purchased the coil buddy and absolutely love it! I have used up all my memory wire and I can’t find memory wire that is 20 gauge, like the wire that comes with the coil buddy. Can you put a link to where I can purchase it? I have only found 22 to 24 gauge and they do not hold up well for medium to large beads. Do you sell 20 gauge in your Etsy Shop?
@MistyMoonDesigns2 жыл бұрын
Hi Tonya. It’s been difficult lately due to supply chain problems. I’m actually waiting on a shipment. Please email me luisa@mistymoondesigns.com or message me through Etsy. The link is in the description 🙂

I had a quick question on the memory wire. I may have missed what you said but do you buy a size? I've seen them in small, med. and large in the craft stores.
@dcj97452 жыл бұрын
what's some good memory wire to buy? also,do we have to go to Etsy to buy Coil Buddy &/or rods?
@MistyMoonDesigns2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Good question. If you’re doing a simple 3 coil bracelet, you can use any gauge from .6mm to 1.0mm. But if you’re trying to line up patterns across multiple coils to form a focal section, it’s better to use .8mm thickness. Even then, it’s tricky because there are other variables that can affect alignment. You can find the thicker gauge in my Etsy store but I carry very small limited amounts. The thinner gauges are easily found on Amazon. And yes, the Coil Buddy/rods are only sold in my Etsy store. The link is in the description section of this video 🙂🌺🌼🌸

@@MistyMoonDesigns Ty,Luisa..the problem on my last one was the weight of my beads (i think), it was wire from the findings kit & I assumed I needed high quality wire to keep its form, but I have little experience/knowledge. I had very few larger beads but it felt heavier than others id made in the past. sorry for my typing, my keyboard is screwed up
@dcj97452 жыл бұрын
thank you so much for your help!! Ill get thicker wire :)

Hi Shelley. It’s pretty thick. It’s .8mm or 20 gauge. I have limited inventory though. 🙂🌺🌼🌸
