Ma'm how do u cover the completed compost container. Should it be a tight lid or just a simple cover or a plate where air passes under it. My container is getting dry, should it sprinkle water on the top mud when it's dry.

You should not cover it with tight lid. Air circulation is must for composting . Yes you should sprinkle water whenever it get dry. Moisture lable should be maintained for good composting
