Becoming a mindful consumer and living a frugal lifestyle has helped me save money.

I admire this kind of mindset, these are only two of the many ways we can save money, but these two are very doable. I love how you put things in order. I'm enjoying watching your videos 👌🏻

No matter what topic you talk about, you always make an authentic impression! The world is full of consumerism and superficial thinking. Thank you for talking about values like humility, cohesion and mindfulness! Here in Bremen, people can even live without a car, so we can do a lot by bike - even big purchases. That's also how I got rid of my car a year ago and feel good about it. Also my 17 year old daughter! :-) I am looking forward to more inspiring videos from you, dear Connie, which give me a good feeling that I am not alone in this world with my way of thinking! Love from Germany, Britta

Hi Britta! Oh, thank you so much for your very kind words! I am so glad you are part of our mindful community. Thank you for sharing your experience of mindful living, car free. I was just in Munich, Germany visiting my daughter. Beautiful country!

@@ConnieRiet Dear Connie, you have been to Munich! How beautiful! I hope you were able to spend some time with your hardworking daughter. Dancing at the ballet in Munich is also something special. I also visited Neuschwanstein Castle before Corona. The way up to the castle is a small sporting challenge, if, like me, you only know flat land here in Bremen. 😉But there were so many visitors there that I only looked at the fairytale castle from the outside. I hope you have arrived well back home and thank you very much for your beautiful video of your trip to Germany. I hope to travel to the USA sometimes in my life. If you should ever be in Hamburg, I will show you the small and very tranquil Bremen. Love from Britta, Bremen Germany

I just discovered your channel and immediately subscribed. It is very interesting because it tackles a variety of topics on how we can better our lives. Even your voice is so relaxing. My first impression of your channel is that you help so many people every day. You surely helped me, I even took down notes. I also have a frugal lifestyle and I enjoy it. It makes me feel so good that I for instance create a meal out of almost nothing. Last year I quitted my full time job which was very stressful and started a part time job. Obviously my salary is much less now, made a few lifestyle changes but I am going on just fine. One thing is for sure, I am stress free and have much more time to enjoy and appreciate life not like I was before. Never be afraid of change! Thanks for your videos.

The emotional attachment to the “item” no matter what this is, really spoke to me. I find myself making up stories on how a cleaning product or home decor item will transform my home. When I go to TJ Maxx, I see a lot of people meandering, just like I am. There are some things that do bring joy and for the most part I have many of those things already in my home that just need care and space so they can shine. Clutter never gives me peace of mind or peace at all. Thank you for reminding me of that and to be aware when I start making up stories to justify things that aren’t capable of fulfilling what I intend them to. 😊🌺

Thank you so much Connie ! I pray I become a more mindful consumer ! I sold my car but it helped me save the money n buy land . the car used to help me get to work but consumed a lot of money in fuel n maintaining . I also used to spend a lot on beauty salon n spa plus swimming . now I did permanent hair locs and that cut my costs. I write as much as possible what we need to purchase , writing helps me focus on what we need only. My expenses increased when I bought gifts for new born babies but that's a one off ! You inspire me Connie ! Your financial advise is simple n true ! Lovely videos ! Be blessed 🌹🌷❤🙏🙏🏵🌹💮🌺

Hi Connie your video is so helpful and your voice is amazing relax am a young single mother with two kids sometimes work sometimes not Am just joining the club of minimalist cause I feel like I need it Even before I wasn't someone who brought up with luxurious life so I use to think differently I never bought phone more than 200$ when all my friends where buying up to 1000 and above I never wear shoes up to 50€ when my friends can spend up to 2/300 only for shoes But I use to spend money a lot maybe going out inviting friends buying things that are not necessarily at the moment shopping a lot and than doing parties at home

Dianna Dunford I just come across to this lady video. Yes she is beautiful and slim but size is not that important . For example I was her size untill my late 40 . Then come lomg struggle with putting a lot of weight over the years and only due to big stress managed to lose 10 kg last summer which helps . I am not still near that old me but life is not about weight although its important for our health. . So I understand your wish but please do be content with your life the thingds you do the people you love . I have to say this lady is inspiering. All the best .
