Never ever thought about doing watercolor! However a friend invited me to do watercolor with her one day and I did, for something to do. It didn’t turn out so great. I found you on KZbin and started doing some of your little paintings and now I’m loving it!! I’m even painting some Easter cards for my grandchildren😃 Thank you for making this fun, especially for someone who isn’t very artistic🥰

I also one day accompanied my little granddaughter with watercolor painting as she love art and likes to draw with whatever medium you give her (she was 41/2 then- two years ago). My daughter lives far and so they post her art work once in a while. But that inspired me to start watercolor painting and I plunged into it last fall. I am hopeless at it, but am also obsessed with it and going to keep trying. Ellen you make is look so easy, but it is hard! I love your tutorials and its so fun to watch you paint and make it so lively. You are such an inspiration!

Thank you Ellen. I have been doing watercolours for a few years. My time is limited with my two granddaughters who recent!y moved in with me. Life with a one year old and a two-year old doesn't give me much time. Doing a quick card is just the ticket for fulfilling my art craving with a beautiful end product. I love these! They are simple and quick and just so lovely. You're a life saver!!

I've been playing around with watercolor the past few months - making a color chart and just getting to know the paint and how to control the brush and water, etc. I've tried painting some objects on my own and wasn't getting anywhere. Just love your beautiful paintings..but could you please take a little time to show what you do in between picking up paint, washing the brush, dabbing on the paper towel, etc, do you clean your brush in between colours..I always seem to have too much water on my brush, thanks a lot x
