I went -1 plains -1 Daxos +2 drannith magistrate to complement the 4 spellbinders as I dislike playing 4 daxos as he's legendary and I feel 23 lands is enough as we don't run faceless haven. The magistrate feels pretty good in the meta, sultimatum can't cast things from ultimatum, adventure creatures can't be cast from exile, cards exiled with spellbinder can't be cast at all, 1/3 survives bonecrusher and blocks monoR all day, escape cards can't escape.

Mono white has always been one of my favorite deck types. I've been evolving my home game mono white since Scourge when I started. It's always pleasing to see other mono white deck taking some names and chewing some bubble gum.

15:51 - Not saying this attack was wrong, but it's safe to attack with the speaker here. If Anax blocks, it deals 1 to him on the first strike, gets the +1/+1 counter from Heliod, then does the 2 extra damage. The opponent would be left with no Anax and a 1/1 that can't block. If the opponent doesn't block, they're at 7, so attacking wouldn't be much of an option for them. Either way, you'd be at 20 life and the opponent won't have enough creatures to ever come back. The line chosen in the game gives the opponent a chance if frostbite is drawn and a giant comes down.

@@R-R-R-R-R Not really. Heliod is a prime target for exile spells, so you'd better have an extra in hand, and you can play Daxos to replace a tapped Daxos while, at the same time, triggering "comes into play" effects.

That's just the theros board. Whenever you cast a mono colored enchantment on it it'll show the corresponding god. It's not a bug it's a feature

When making the deck a voice inside tells how blade historian's 4 mana cost is too much for mono white. What if you topdeck 4 of that? Reality is that it won't happen. But then again shuffler is fine.

It's a common pattern to see when Arena has rigged match in the favor of an opponent, who could be struggling with a win for a few matches straight. If CGB had other costly cards in his deck he would drawn them instead, but in this case there were only Blade Historians.
