I have 2 must-have pages: 1. a list of all the books I've read (title, author, genre, rating) and 2. a list to write down all my favourite memories of the year (for example: a friend's wedding, a concert etc) but also other big life events (like flooding, pandemic stuff etc)

I like the idea of having pre-set up pages to house memories like that 😄💜
@Sal-iw8zg3 жыл бұрын
I love the black and gold combination - good choice to keep it simple. My must-have pages other than the core Index/Future Log/Monthly/Daily are 'eyes versus credit card' (a wishlist with an assessment of how much I really want/need it) and 'when did I last' (which I use for routine health checks, routine but rarer-than-fortnightly cleaning tasks and tracking the longevity of consumables like toothpaste). I expect to move into my own place in 2022 so I'll probably end up with some more householdy ones too (but hopefully I can ditch the job hunting ones pretty quickly!).
@JashiiCorrin3 жыл бұрын
Oh nice! I like the idea of making the "when did I last" spread for health checks (possibly because I don't like cleaning tasks 🤔😋)

I'm definitely going to use the tape-in spacing guide idea, that is brilliant!. BTW your print outs that you do for Patreon are amazing. Thank you for those, I use so many of them.

I'm just planning out my first bullet journal so I've currently just been watching videos for different set ups to figure out what I want.

Hey Jess. Thanks for this video. I’m still trying to figure out on some basics to keep in my bullet journal, but I know I definitely need a small section for my kids so I can put down info as needed for or about them. 4 kids (8-17) with a bunch of activities and appointments.

the grid spacing idea is genius! love the simplicity of this theme

I’ve found putting in the date for the first and last date of each week, it means you only mess up 5 numbers which is less difficult to fix. Beautiful setup theme ideas.

hiya! for my spreads, my health and mental health tracking are a bog deal for me (and my drs) so I always draw a spiral meter or a pie chart and use different colors for each day or (if it is supposes to represent the month) a different color for each thing I'm tracking and date my little blocks of color in my pie chart or spiral OR write what each color represents if this is part of a daily tracking spread. I had a bad head injury last year, so even though the monthly us what I prefer to use, I've had to use the daily for most of this year. but my spreads always have to include this, and food log :)

Hope you're recovering well from your head injury! Those are scary 😯💜

I adore the (almost) monochromatic colour theme. It's almost exactly what I prefer to use each year (and I'm going to steal the idea of using grey). Speaking of which - I'm absolutely stealing the idea of a flip-out grid guide. I'm also considering using the astrology "stickers" from patreon to create a journal for my daughter. Now, off to planning for next year :)

I love this theme! I also like the black and gold together, so pretty! I really like having a future log as some appointments or meetings I make have to be months ahead (some b/c of the pandemic of course) and I would forget about them if I don't have a future log LOL.
@JashiiCorrin3 жыл бұрын
For sure! I've found it to be helpful for my hair appointments, haha 😝 I booked all of my 2021 appointments in December 2020!

This is will be my first yearly set up so I wanted to keep it simple. I’ve added, bookcase, future log, highlights for each month, themes for each month, IG and KZbin post schedule at a glance for each month and lifestyle plan - things that will benefit my lifestyle for the first few months of the year (I’ll review every 2-3months)

Washi taping in a grid spacing guide is such a good idea! Also, I'm not sure if you've noticed but you missed Feb 27th on the year at a glace spread and have 2 28's instead. But at least you started the calendar on the correct day... unlike me 😂
@JashiiCorrin3 жыл бұрын
Yeah that was where I actually wrote 26 twice, and then just wrote 27 over the top....so now it looks like 28 😝 rip. Thankful I started it on the right day though, haha! 😅
