Justine, I will absolutely be making a scaled down version of the pork chops and green beans for my husband and myself. We limit our carbs and avoid and processed foods so it’s perfect for us. We are also big fans of butter. Anyone afraid of bacon or butter should research them and watch some doctors like Jason Fung and Dr. Ken Berry, just to name a couple. Fats does not make you fat (shocked me too). lol And the idea that cholesterol in food hurts you has been proven to be false. Even if you end up disagreeing it’s really interesting. 😊

What I don’t understand and never will. Is why people feel the need to make rude and nasty comments to KZbinrs. They work hard to put out content. I see things constantly that I wouldn’t make or eat. I see points I view I vehemently disagree with. But we all as decent humans have the choice to not watch a channel. Leave the channel without comment. Everyone has the right to their own opinions, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, and even way of cooking and eating. Doesn’t mean we should be unkind when they are not to our liking. Bullying is NEVER ok! End of lecture.

Some of your ideas are really good. I have a challenge for you using one of those triple crockpots. They are totally under utilized I think. A person could use them to cook breakfast lunch and dinner for your kids if you are a working mom. Like oatmeal in one, mini meatballs, pasta and sauce in another for lunch and in the third compartment chicken with your favorite salsa and just make the rice. Or a complete dinner meat in gravy in one compartment, baby red potatoes and green beans with garlic in the second compartment in another and leftover fruits in the third compartment for dessert. Just a quick thought but you get it. Could be really fun recipe videos to try using a triple crockpot.

Not only that, she wasted two cans of expensive broth for those pasta noddles-which ended up burnt anyway. I don’t understand her videos. I’ve been watching a lot of them and all I see is food poisoning and a waste of expensive ingredients and ALL pre-packaged stuff. Then I read the comments and I don’t understand that either! Am I in the twilight zone or upside down world?!
@CyndiPoole-rf3vx4 ай бұрын
Then don't watch. You should maybe consider getting a cookbook for beginners. Just because you may have failed to adjust your temperature and / or timing for your oven, causing your pasta to burn doesn't mean hers did. This channel is more for moms who work outside the home and are experienced enough to know about food contamination and safe guarding against it. It's taken for granted that behind the scenes she's following those practices as anyone with common sense would. It's assumed the viewer understands that because it's obvious. It's just a video to show how comparatively easy it is to fix an entire hot meal for your family in a relatively short period of time. She doesn't have to go through every single safety step, too.
@missdarkhumour22224 ай бұрын
@@CyndiPoole-rf3vx Wow. The ego of the “working mom”. Give me a break. The videos are awful. Not only that…very expensive for each of these meals. REALLY expensive. Great food products and the recipe I’m sure is yummy. Here’s a non critical tip from a retired Nurse… STOP 🛑 heating food in aluminum containers or pans; once aluminum in the containers from dollar stores, grocery stores or even aluminum lined, Teflon lined cooking where gets heated the properties of that metal changes and when it changes it contaminate your body making you sick over long-term use. Secondly aluminum over long-term use, including aluminum foil covering your food can end up in your brain once you get heavy metals in your brain, including aluminum which millions of us use around the world slowly your mind from being forgetful you start losing your short term memory, like I said the metals in your brain you can’t get rid of it. I think your recipes are wonderful but for you and your families long-term use use a glass dish glass has been so healthy for hundreds of years and in the world please stay away from aluminum. I’m begging you as a woman and a nurse that learned so much fighting cancer at Stanford . I had some of the best Doctor save my life and they told me stop using aluminum foil aluminum pans, Teflon coated aluminum cookware. Please stop it. It’s making you very very sick and when you’re old and in your 80s and 90s you’ll have dementia or Alzheimer’s or both. Your food is very yummy. I’ve tried some of your recipes, but I don’t use aluminum. I hope this helps millions all those ways of cooking will help you and keep your family happy and healthy for a long time to come. God bless.

I've GOT to teach Justine how to buy fresh produce, prep it, and freeze what she doesn't use. Every video I watch, I see her pulling out those packages of frozen veggies and packaged cheese and this mental cash register just starts tallying up the cash in my head. Not only would the dishes she make the dishes taste better, but most people don't realize that this is the difference between a first class seat instead of coach should you take a yearly flight someplace. Everytime I see that damned packaged cheddar, I go crazy.
@bsrasmussen3 ай бұрын
There are plenty of other KZbinrs that use fresh produce. Justine is here for those of us that don't have that kind of time.
@dirkclarke23722 ай бұрын
@bsrasmussen 100% agreement, and also the point of what I said. A one pound block of cheddar is unbelievably less expensive than its shredded counterpart. If you take the INITIAL TIME to cut and store it in the freezer, you'll ultimately save so much time and money at the end of the year that it's almost ridiculous. Saving money is almost always about the long haul. Remember the Aesop's fable about the Tortoise and the Hare from your childhood? There's a reason why that fable has endured for thousands of years in thousands of languages.
@bsrasmussen2 ай бұрын
@@dirkclarke2372 I agree that much money can be saved using your advice is you have the time to invest. If you don't have the time to invest it is all too easy to get take out. And that's even more expensive than folllowing along with Justine. I suggest not making perfect the enemy of the good.
