thanks for the video, didn't know there were a new update on the Kia Connect app, i just hope that the Remote Start and unlock/door feature, work a bit more faster, because previous version is very very slow, have to wait about 2 mins just to unlock my doors, on my Kia Sorento 2021

But how do you add a second driver to the same KIA Connect app? I got the registration email but still can’t figure out how to add my spouse. And it’s amazing that this app has been out for a few months now and still when I try to Google this question, NOTHING comes up on how to add a second driver to Kia Connect.

I’ve got a 2022 Sorento SX it’s my first Kia and I love it so do my 2 kids I bought for it’s space don’t use the 3rd row but it’s handy to have it looks sweet in the garage next my girlfriend’s 2021 Sorento EX hybrid this app helps me a lot with my Sorento’s servicing and the recalls cause I’m useless at it all lol

Wow glad I am not alone, never used this app before and got my sportage 2023 on friday and tried using this app and it is doing exactly that. It never logs me in and this spinning circle never stops. Contacted the support and the weird part is that they told me its working on their end. I dont k ow what to do, definetly something is wrong with their app.

Me too! Was on phone with Kia for 3.5 hours because of this update as well as my son's 2020 Forte ex's transmission blew this weekend even after he went to dealership and they assured us tranny was fine 3 months ago. Terrific customer service.....

this is only for the people that can afford the $300 a year fee to use the service I have a Kia optima I bought for all these features and they did not tell me that after year you have to pay $300 to use it so now I just have a basic car that I spent a lot of money on for features that I can't afford to use so beware this feature is free on American cars if you want to use your cell phone

Awesome update! Thank you for this! The new version won't work on my phone though (old one did). Not Kia's fault: the minimum Android version this app supports was released over 5 years ago, so this is a function of me needing a new cellphone rather than a company pushing people to get the latest technology!

Thanks… Does this app can be control with my Apple Watch or only vis cell phone. If so, via the watch, is this possible to open the trunk,,,, hear the honk in parking? Only say « Siri, open my trunk », would be nice. (Possible with Tesla).

Do new Kia’s come with unlimited access to Kia Connect, or is it a trial period for free, then a monthly/annual subscription service for a fee?

Newer models 2021 and after come with a three-year trial period. After that, there are three monthly subscription options with three different degrees of features.

Hi Dennis, if you would like the new layout and the bug fixes you'll need to install the update. It can be done through the app store on your devices!

This update says my phone is no longer compatible (Motorola G Play Android 7.1). Anybody else get this message? Moto G3 running Android 6.0 (from Kia website) works with new update but mine doesn’t. That makes no sense to me. Great move Kia Connect forcing how many hundreds if not thousands of people to by a new phone to use your app. Despicable. I have a 2022 Soul GT-Line Limited.

1:10 passcode/PIN is very annoying and unnecessary! How often has someone else stolen my phone and wanted to turn on my aircon or charge my car - tip... NEVER. Why would they. The only thing worthy of a pin is for the (never happened before) thief to gain access to the whereabouts of the car. Other than that, what's the big deal, it's a pain for no good reason!
