Beautiful painting Cinnamon and John. I needed this because I have been terrified of tackling any of Ginger's painting with flowers in a vase but you have explained every brushstroke in a concise and very clear way and, although I only have tiny filberts, I can get a set of 4 Black Pearl Filberts, as used by The Art Sherpa, off Amazon UK. I am hopping over there right now to snaffle them. I need bigger Filberts anyway. I have Cats Tongue brushes too. You can't have too many brushes, especially as I like to do oil paintings too. Wahooo one less step!! LOL Actually here is what you need to know. The finish can be better then the white . dont know why but it always seems that way. Also it is mars black so you can easily touch it up. They go on sale all the time so are a good way to save money

It says phthlo blue(green shade), phthalo green (blue shade). I dont see the word shade and the gre es n and blue in parentheses. Does it have to say that?

If it doesn't specify, then it is most likely those shades. Those are the more common shades, so some manufacturers don't specify. But most likely if not, then you have the correct shades. You can also look at the pigment codes to be sure. For phathlo blue it is PB 15:3 and for phathlo green it is PG 7. 💟

Its a Richeson Best easel the European and I got it at Texas Art supply. I love this line of easels but dont pay list. always wait for sales Easels are often half off. Pacific Arc and Creative Mark are also good and so some similar Styles at a lower price point
