Thanks. It ought to be part of the top. But if your pattern is high waist meaning you added about 3 inches to your original crotch length den you can forget about the waist band

Hello ma'am. The picture of the illustration and what you gave us as the final look are not the same thing. There are pleats or gathers at the waistline connecting the upper bodice to the palazzo pants. Yours lacks that. The interpretation is incorrect. I'm a subscriber to your channel, but this one no follow.
