Very cute! I did not get the point either but then I saw baby ones and those I get but even these are becoming more popular, kind of like belly dancers wear this kind of thing so I like them now :D I think it would be cool to make this pattern then add a flower or something to the top, just to keep it quick and simple. Also you could just add a button or pin :) Just throwing out ideas :D Thanks Claire for your videos! :D

Some folks in the barefoot community wear these sandals so they do not have to deal with people complaining that they are not wearing shoes while in establishments. Plus, the sandals are pretty. :)

I noticed a couple of times you mention your scissors are blunt. Rather than buying a new set, if you get some tin foil (aluminium foil) and fold it up a few times the use the blunt scissors to cut the foil loads of times it will sharpen your scissors. I use tine foil that i cover cakes etc with. Hope that it helps. x I am going to have a go at thee bare foot sandals. x

Are these used for anything other than foot decoration? They don't look all that practical and definitely not for outdoor use. I'm a less is more kind of girl, and a bit of string around my toe like that would drive me mad unfortunately.
