Go big or go home with the nooch!! Ok, that 4 pack of Tofu at Costco for less than $7.00 is good a deal for me to pass up either. Those tofu nuggets look great. That coating is everything! The soup looks great. The kale is a very smart addition to that recipe. I love soup all year long also. Two great recipe.

Hi Debi, if you freeze your tofu first then thaw and press, even the firm will have a more firm texture for your nuggets!

WOW! I just tried making your tofu recipe. I am new to tofu and have been experimenting with different ways to make it so I like it. This is the first time that I have actually made tofu and really enjoyed it. I made this for my family also and my picky eater and hubby (who has always disliked tofu) gobbled it up. I will be making this regularly now. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I would love to see more recipes for beginners especially ones with tofu, seitan or another meat substitute so I can transition the rest of my family from meat (although I have been vegetarian for a while I'd like to move to being plant-based permanently). I did find the mixture made more than I needed for the tofu so next time I may start with 1/2-3/4 of the amounts for the ingredients so I don't waste any mixture......nooch is not cheap. Please keep uploading recipes, they are much appreciated!

I think it's a little more that that. I bet you could find a recipe for dill pickle juice on the internet. You can find almost anything on the internet. But you really don't want to skip that ingredient. It really makes the dish.
