I make the prayer quilts just like you do. People are very appreciative when you give one to them. It helps with anxiety in a lot of them.

These are absolutely beautiful. I would carry one with me when I do my treatments. It's a great reminder that God is always there with us even if at times we feel he is not.

I have made pocket prayer quilts in the past but this is a new and much easier way! Thank you so much for sharing. I am so inspired! I need to make more in this simpler way. Hugs and blessings to you my friend,

I would love to see how you make them with the simplified version. You are so creative. This is a much easier way and you could do different things ... You could add any kinds of charm inside and a poem to match it. The possibilities are endless. Hugs and blessings right back at you.

Where did you buy the wooden crosses
@JunkGal632 ай бұрын
@lydiadiaz3628 Honestly, I don't know where I got those. I believe Hobby Lobby has a wood section, and you might find some there. I started making my own after I ran out. I hope this helps.

They are adorable. Where did you get your pinking rotary cutter, the wooden crosses and how to print the prayer. Thank you, new subby, love your channel.😊
@JunkGal63 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for subscribing and watching. I am using the OLFA 45mm Ergonomic Rotary Cutter. I like it because you can use regular 45mm blades and the pinking blades. For the pinking blade just search for Olfa Rotary Blade Refill 45mm Pinking. You may be able to get them at Joann's. I can't remember where I got mine. But I like using it more than the pinking scissors. I think I got the wood crosses in a bag from a garage sale. But I think Hobby Lobby has a section for wood shapes. You can check out that section. To print the prayer, I used my graphic program, Affinity Publisher and printed like 9 to a page. But you could use Canva which is free. I then cut them out and distressed the edges with Walnut Distressing ink. I hope this wasn't too long. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Have a great night! ~~ Jackie

I found my Olaf cutters half off today for July fourth sale. How big are the crosses, Amazon has some, but don’t know the size I need. Thank you ps… my momma was born in Valders, Wisconsin in the late twenties.
@JunkGal63 Жыл бұрын
I'm so glad you got your cutters. The crosses are about 1-1/2 inch tall by 1 inch wide. They are 1/4" thick. Valders, WI is about 2 hours from me. I am actually a Buckeye transplanted in Wisconsin. I moved here in 1986. Blessings!

Where were you able to find the little prayer cards? I’v made one of these for my dear friend’s granddaughter. Her papa passed away last December. I used some fabric from one of her papa’s shirts. It turned out very nicely. During this last year my handwriting has gotten so bad that I can’t recognize it as my own. Your prayer cards look great. Thank you for sharing your great tutorial. Merry Christmas.🎄🎁

What all do you sell? These are super cute! I’m fixen to d my first craft fair ever and I’m super nervous. I wondered if you’ve done them before, and if so, I’d love to ask your advice on some things if you’re okay with that? If you have an IG account I could message you through there? Or email? Thank you for the tutorial, these are so helpful and such a blessing to me.

I'm so glad you found the tutorial useful. I only do a few craft shows a year. My bestie and I go in together because the fee can be high. We get to hang out together. Don't be nervous. I don't know if you saw my berry basket video, but I will be selling those. I like primitives so I try to stay with that but mostly using what I already have. I don't repurpose thrift items. I have enough stuff. LOL. I like to have high ticket items and low ticket items. It is a tough time for folks right now. Feel free to email me at junkgal63@gmail.com. I would love to hear from you. Blessings. ~~Jackie
