The mousse and the coffee cake I think would be my favorite. I would be tempted to put the mousse in the freezer and serve it Slightly frozen with fresh whip cream added then for the topping. The coffee cake seems like something you could put in the freezer too....and pull it out when you know you're going to have company.

For your yeast, try adding sugar to activate the yeast, and it will rise better.

I am allergic to cinnamon and it was so depressing this time of year. What I have learned is that u put the same amount of ground ginger in as the recipe calls for cinnamon. Works perfectly. So good and u still get the cinnamon vibe. Apple crisp like this is fantastic!!

When you proofed your yeast, you should add about a tsp of your sugar to kick start the yeast. That’s why your second rising was better.

I am in Australia and over here they don’t sell canned pumpkin. Can we just cook up fresh pumpkin ourselves and puree and will it be the same ??? ALSO we don’t have Cool Whip so what I ingredients are are in that so we can substitute. Thank you 😊

You can use fresh pumpkin and process it like you said. The cool whip is different. You may have to use heavy whipping cream.
