The way you use another sketchbook as a palette is such an awesome way to create new bases for art journaling. Love the stamps, too! Thank you for sharing all this inspiration.

Love it! Curious if you can use them more than once and if you’ve used them with ink at all or just the acrylic paint?
@AmandaTrought Жыл бұрын
You can use them with both Angel. If you use them with permanent ink it starts to harden over time. With the acrylic paint you might get a bit more texture on the stamps as they harden over time, but you should get quite a good use out of them great to try them out and see what effects you can get - happy creating!

I have always wondered what the foam pieces in packaging could be used for. Great idea to make stamps out of them, and it costed nothing by time to cut out and glue on a more sturdy form. Thank you for sharing your ideas.

Love the colours you used to stamp this, they make the stamps look nicer afterwards too xD My favourite one will have to be the plus signs! I don’t get some foam thingies often, but the ones i cut up ages ago (from the ancient video you used them as little squares to make 2 different colour pages together look similar) still hold up fine and i quite like the feel of them being squishy as they stamp. Somewhat weird maybe but i think a lot about crafting has to do with your other senses like smell and feel during the process beyond just the visual. Tfs!

I NEED YOUR HELP!! I SPENT TONS OF MONEY ON CRAFT/ART STUFF BEFORE I STARTED CRAFTING AGAIN.I WATCHED TOO MANY UTUBE VIDEOS AND THEY MADE ME FEEL LIKE I NEEDED TO EVERYTHING, DIE CUTTER,ENVELOPE MAKER, ETCCCCC. and I spent a big part of my savings. I've been depressed about it for 4 years now. I LOVE THE WAY YOU CREATE BECAUSE THATS WHAT YOURE DOING, MAKING YOUR OWN ART AND NOT BUYING EVERY NEW MACHINE,STAMP,MARKER,PAINT ETC WHEN IT COMES TO MARKET!I FEEL TRAPPED. OVERWHEMED. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER THEN TO BUY SO MUCH "STUFF!" HOW DO I GET RELAXED TO CREATE ART AGAIN..I RALLY LOVE TO CREATE SO I DONT KNOW WHY I BOUGHT SO MUCH STUFF. HELP! Kim
@AmandaTrought Жыл бұрын
Kim, I know what you mean, I have done it too. I used to get this feeling that wouldn't leave until I brought the product. You now have to side step and move on with your creativity and find joy. Start slow to begin with, just acquainting yourself with the supplies. If you have duplicates, either sell or gift another artists/friend/school or afterschool resource (Christmas is coming up). What is done is done now. What is important is to not allow what you brought to stop you any longer. Take out the first supply you can get your hand on and just play - spend 15 minutes using it in a journal or on paper and move on to the next. I hope it helps, blessings.
