Your video is so detailed and has so much information on it. And the fact that you went through all the types of beads and how to make them, it's even better. Thank you! I recently found out about paper beads and let me tell you I about cried and screamed bloody murder, because last year I did a clean up in my closet and pretty much threw away 10 years worth of collecting fashion magazines 😭. They would've been amazing for this new hobby! 😭😭😭😭😭 I kick myself in the butt for it and SOOOOO wish I could go back in time to NOT have done that! I filled up two recycle bins, with wheels on them, with all my magazines. Oh my poor treasure! 😢 BUT I'll start over and since I can always subscribe to those magazine and have digital access to the archives, I'll be printing them instead. Well I guess my money will go to buying paper and ink but hey I'll get the pretty pictures again and will be able to use them for paper beads! 😜 Yesterday I got a lot of pamphlets and coupon magazines to start with those. Plus I also have some newspaper that I colored over and used my own doodles with pens and gel pens lol. And I had saved some chip bags and cookie wraps, since they got foil on them, I will incorporate those too. Same with the yogurt container tops and seals. ✌️😁 I also got glue, some coffee stirs and skewer sticks to try with those as well. Oh plus the glitter and nail polish to use as paint as well and the glue to seal it. Oh the possibilities are endless. Thanks so much for the motivation!!! God bless!! 🎉❤

I agree with you, 100%! Gelatos are the best, bar none. I'm definitely a 'use what you have' crafter, however I would strongly recommend Gelatos... they are the best. I only have 30 assorted colours and they're perfect. ❤

Hi Jennibellie, I have been watching a lot of videos on KZbin pertaining to junk journals, scrapbooking and bullet journalling. I come to you from Norway. I am old enough as to have done bullet journalling and doodling long before it even was a thing 😁Guilty av watching knitting/crochet videos as well. One thing that I didn't quite understand was junk journalling. You explained it very well. I think I am going to try putting together a junk journal with my old cards (I keep all of them). Need to watch more of your videos. 📚📑

I love the non water-soluble options too like Kwix tempera paint sticks. It doesn’t move when you rub it on paper and it’s just as smooth and satisfying to use as the gel sticks

Interesting comparison to see. I'm usually not in the market for the more expensive/artist quality supplies for budget reasons. The thing that helps me is just learning how the supplies I have actually work and working within that. I like seeing comparisons though because when I do have the budget to splurge a bit I can refer to something like this video and see what qualities I'd like to have before buying something fancy (which can sometimes lead to disappointment, especially when they work so different to the cheaper/student versions). Thanks for the insight 😊

I love my gelatos for pigment and often blend them out with my fingers without adding water. They work well that way. I wish they had a set with more traditional artist colors like yellow ocher, Payne's grey, deeper colors, natural greens. Most are fairly bright or pastel. I also have the KingArt gel crayons which are also super creamy and blend well with fingers but not as well with water. But I have the metallic set which is not crumbly and super sparkly and gorgeous. I live them for halo effect. Thanks for another great video!
