I was able to get my (4 year temporary) residency card in Mexico rather easily. Two passport stamps to Mexico between 2015 - 2020 were required and it cost me approx $1300 CAD. After 4 years, I'll be able to apply for permanent status.

One thing to keep in mind for the Latvian Golden Visa, it sounds like people do need to spend some time in the 10 years.... It may be "easy" for you if you like to live in Latvia for 10 years. They do have a real estate purchase option as well. I find that Nomad Capitalist's website and blog posts very helpful on Golden Visas and Citizenship by investment

In practice "citizenship", "dual citizenship", "diversity" and the like are pretty much Western concepts. Outside of Europe, the Americas and AUS/NZ, it's rather hard to find countries open and willing to accept you as one of their own, most of them simply "tolerate" your presence in exchange for some money.

I am really surprised that Portugal is not mentioned! Getting my D7 Visa and Portuguese residency was a breeze!
@Muhayyo6667 ай бұрын
Are you in the age of retirement ? Beside I heard those above 50 are qualified for the visa
@homyce7 ай бұрын
@Muhayyo666 age has nothing to do with it! You can get a D7 even if you are in your 20s or 30s (I know some who did). You just need to prove that you have some kind of passive income that is equal to the minimum wage in Portugal. The bar is not that high at all and that's why I am amazed she mentioned Spain, which has a much higher financial requirement, way more restrictions in terms of what you are allowed to do in Spain when you get the visa, and double the time it takes you to apply for citizenship versus Portugal! Maybe I should open my own version of Nomad Capitalist 🙃

@rexlex7784 sorry, can't agree with you sir. Irena is at her absolute best in her presentation. Her delivery is very clear and easy to comprehend. Her soft and s*xy husky voice with 'eastern european' accent is a delight for the ears. Last but not the least, her mesmerising demeanor is nothing less than a pleasant experience, not to speak of the rich content being delivered. Andrew sure knows how to pick perfect team members and I'll take a 🙇♂️ bow to his talent for that. He's a class apart ...

They're not there yet. Most cities are dangerous, there's a lot of theft even in small cities, you can't walk around with a Macbook or iPhone and the banking experience is awful. Tax-wise it's not convenient and will probably get worse. But super beautiful beaches, rich culture, cool people, sexy babes, great music and a lot of fun.
