I absolutely love all of your commentary and fun banter, And, and, I really appreciate the absence of background music (so unnecessary I feel, and can be so distracting.) I've been gel printing for about 1.5 years now (kind of obsessed with botanical prints and abstract landscapes) - Sooo glad to subscribe, and will go back and watch your other vids too! Great stuff Amanda!

I couldn’t agree more. I’ve been on a personal mission to try and get artists to understand that background music is not only distracting, it’s irritating - especially when they’re having to shout over it. What amazes me is that I understand that the use of music in the editing, and with copyright issues, it’s a nightmare to add. So, do yourselves a favour, take a leaf out of Amanda’s book here, and just avoid it altogether. Win win! ☺️ New subscriber btw - fun video and loved the results.

I was browsing YT videos on gel prints, and this one popped up. The first 2 mins of your video made me smile, and made my Friday afternoon. Edit, I never clean my gel plate, it gives me some interesting textures on all my prints. Edit v2. I don't have any favourite colours...I ADORE ALL the colours.

@amandadevuonoart Жыл бұрын
Are you having fun with it, Julz? I find using the plate is a great way to let go of control. The blue towels are Scott Shop Towels. They’re great because they’re durable & can be reused a couple times. Good for cleaning up grease, dirt, spills. Can usually find this type of towel at hardware stores or mechanic stores. Men love to have them in the car & the garage 😂
