Beautiful !, if I made this into a bracelet, say a 6 inch would you 3x's the length so 18 inches of wire or would you go longer?
@LanAnhHandmade
@LanAnhHandmade 5 күн бұрын
i think you have to use at least 5 times the length of the wire, since you have to fold the wire in half. it's hard to calculate the exact number, it depends on how many turns you twist, and how big or small the turns are. you can try a short piece to predict the wire length more accurately

I use 3 basic Pliers: Round Nose Pliers (yellow), Flat Nose Pliers, no cog ( blue), Cutting Pliers (red). I usually use 19 and I use soft copper wire. it have plating layer, and not dark by time. 20 gauge ( diameter of 0.8 - 0.9mm) to bend, 28 gauge (diameter of 0.3mm) to wrap

How do you not mar the wire?
@LanAnhHandmade
@LanAnhHandmade 5 күн бұрын
This is a skill you need to practice a lot. You need to choose an appropriate force to bend the wire, should limit the use of pliers, should use your hands to bend so that the wire is naturally bent and leaves no marks. sometimes unavoidable to leave a mark, you should leave the mark where it is least visible.
