It occurs to me that one could just make a hollow twisted wrap around where the stone will lie, use less wire and then the flower isn't needed. Of course, I liked the flower without the stone, too! LOL! First video of yours I've watched, VERY well done and will be watching more. Thank you!

The rings are beautiful! simple but effective ;) And using a lipstick holder for your tools BRILLIANT! I have two of them that I don´t use, tried it with nailpolish, but it didn´t workout the way I wanted it, however, now I know what to use them for! :D THANK YOU! 💜 (yeah, I´m adopting your clever way of using them, one for jewelry and one for clay)
@HelenaDaydreamer4 жыл бұрын
Hey, that's great! TBH I probably wouldn't have bought the lipstick holder if it didn't have iridescent bits on the bottom, that bit was honestly mesmerising.. (but then give me some glitter and I'll become a unicorn-love sparkly things!) And then only when I came home from the shop with it I realised it would be cool for my tools! 😁 Need to get another one soon, there is never enough sparkly lipstick holders! 😎 What do you create with clay?
@CrixJoki4 жыл бұрын
@@HelenaDaydreamer I hear you lol mine doesn´t have any sparkles...I just wanted to get organized ;D Clay, well, I do make some jewelry, beads and such, it´s like painting but with clay ;) magic wands, miniatures and whatever comes to mind :) I make things for mixed media too. At heart I am a acrylic painter, but I´ve had some back issues these past 15 months, so I haven´t been able to paint (or even walk/stand for half of the time, barely sit...), so I turned to projects that were easier to take breaks from (paint dries on yah) so I got myself a small amount of beads, wire and things like that, and I picked up polymer clay :) (fell in love with making canes haha) I´ve always loved working with my hands, that´s what´s keeping me sane ;)
@HelenaDaydreamer4 жыл бұрын
CrixJoki oh no, sorry to hear about your back, that must be awful! I hope you get better soon and will be able to pick up that paint brush soon. Do you have your pictures and clay art anywhere online? would love to see them! I love painting too, mostly oil and also printmaking-that one is so relaxing for me and I can really express myself. I’m pretty much into any arts and crafts( although never been keen on cross stitching and crochet) and I’m now learning to do ‘proper’ silversmithing-soldering Etc and it’s blowing my mind! Love it! Anyway I so hope your back gets better and you’ll be running and sitting with ease 💛
@CrixJoki4 жыл бұрын
@@HelenaDaydreamer I am getting better. I have some pics on both Instagram and FB (crijok on fb, I have an art folder there) not much clay or jewelry tho, mostly paintings and pours :D I´m not kiin on cross stitching or crochet either, it´s more trubbel than its worth lol but I do enjoy sewing :) Proper silversmithing sounds awesome! that´s something I always wanted to try :D Stay artsy ;) 💜
