I drilled a hole in the fender, brought the wires up so you can't see them. Neater that way.

Pannier racks and new bags look great Ron. Racks on Amazon I seen recently..." Pannier rails rack fits Royal Enfield Himalayan with detachable foot rest $69.29." These have a shelf addition like the Pannier racks for the 350 classic on the bottom to form a angle for support of Bags. No wiring harness! Any ideas on this ?

Thanks for that! Heck! I wasn't able to find them. I did a couple of searches different ways including a web search. So, I am not exactly sure. I can say that I plan on wrecking more, well "laying the bike down". With that in mind, I got the racks that have more coverage from the bolt just above the foot rest to the back to help protect the exhaust a bit as well. If they are only mounted by two bolts, or do not provide as much coverage, I imagine they would still hold saddlebags and probably weigh less with less work on the relocation as well. Not sure if that helps...If you do go that way, I would love to know how it turns out. Thanks!
