I've never made one of these before...mainly because I'm not crafty! Can you explain why you ripped your fabric instead of cutting it with pinking shears?

Ripped fabric will tear in straight lines and it's much faster to do than cutting a lot of fabric. It looks better on a project like this too.

How long did you make your garland

You can make your garland any length. The one in the video is probably 3-4 ft. long, but certainly make it to accommodate your needs. There is no right or wrong length for this project. Thanks for watching! - Cindy
