Nice vid! Voice over or not? I like both. I think it’s nice to mix it up. Don’t pigeon hole yourself into one way of doing things.

Personally I like the voice over approach you choose. Another lesson is the value of a purpose build shop to maximize productivity and repeatability.

Matt great video. No fluff or bs just straight and to the point. And I myself like the voice over that way I know what’s going on.

Hey Matt! you were not kidding when you said you were working on a shop cabinet build video. Thanks for the great intro into building a shop/storage cabinet. Simple to the point and informative. I look forward to seeing your channel and content grow.

Matt, do you ever use a cross cut sled to cut the parts to length? I guess it depends on how square the factory edges are. I like the idea of not having to mess with cross cutting and just ripping using the table saw fence.
@crossgrain3274 ай бұрын
I don’t use a cross cut sled for parts this big. Realistically if I wanted a close to perfect sheet part I’d start with a track saw after ripping on the table saw to cut to length for this plywood. Luckily the Columbia Forest Products maple ply I use on my cabinetry is near perfect for square. I actually don’t have to worry about squaring those sheets up when it comes to a product I’m going to put in a clients home. But that’s a great question Benjamin

@crossgrain327 hey so similar but not exactly the same would you ever consider a sliding fence table saw like the big one with the fence in front of the sheet and quick stops that you can set along it?
@crossgrain3274 ай бұрын
@@Eyeofthestorm-zw1fe I’ve considered it definitely. I’d like to try one first though
