I loved your tiramisu recipe so much I devoured it almost entirely myself, then I made another because I had to because there were still leftover ingredients. But then there was still more cream leftover somehow so we made challah, then made French toast, then put the tiramisu cream on top with maple syrup. I may have gained a few lmao but it was all worth it!!

I can’t imagine not weighing the flour! That’s because we don’t use cups as a measurement in the UK. I just don’t see how that can be accurate. 🤔

I made this recipe yesterday and i cant say how delicious was!!! I shared with my family and they were delighted.

I did this with clay pots and half the amount, at 180C°, it gave me 3 servings of circle clay pots with the width of 11cm. I applied a thin layer of butter on the clay pots with parchment paper on it so the cookie doesnt stick to the pots(and so its easier for me to wash) I had 2 results: 1-very hard and burnt top, i let it cook for 20 mins and it tasted very average. 2-very soft and probably undercooked, let it cook for 7~ mins, it tasted pretty yummy!! Note: Ofc it depends on the oven and the ingredients i used, i didnt really have the exact ingredients in my house so i usually use what i use. For example i didnt know if the butter we had was salted or not. But all in all it was pretty good!!

Just made this. Baked at 350° for 22 min = perfection! I am a former chemistry major and appreciated weighing the incredients in grams. Fabulous instructions, as always. Vanilla ice cream is definitely required! Just wondering why my beagle keeps staring at me. . .

This is the second or third recipe of yours I’ve tried. Thought to myself before: it’s just a big cookie. Could not believe how awesome the texture and flavor (that touch of sea salt!) were. Thanks for sharing and posting! You’ve helped me grown in the kitchen.

I made this and it was lovely! I know John said to cool completely so that the wedges would come out clean, but I wanted the contrast with warm cookie wedge and cold ice cream, so i tried to cut it while warm… didn’t work 🙃. But it was still yummy. The leftovers cut really easily because it was fully cooled… so listen to John.

I've been wanting to experiment with using Swerve instead of sugar for chocolate chip cookies. I think I may do that experiment with this recipe this weekend.
@stuartkinzel81953 жыл бұрын
Just an update for anybody interested in using Swerve to make cookies. The cookie came out very bland tasting. I used 1:1 Swerve for the white sugar and 1:1 Swerve with molasses for the brown sugar. I haven't made this recipe with real sugar, but I'm sure that they are tasty. Every Preppy Kitchen recipe I've made has been delicious and I'm sure that the lackluster flavor of my cookie is 100% the fault of using Swerve instead of sugar.
