As always, your tutorials are easy to follow. Thanks Maryna. I've used this bind off when I make cowls so that my my top and bottom ends are eare equally stretchy.

Hello! I am a first-time commenter here. I love your channel! Could you please do a video demonstrating the half linen stitch in the Russian knitting method, please? Thank you in advance.

HI there. Half-linen stitch and other patterns based on knit and purl stitches, don't need any adjustments for the Eastern knitting style. Follow the same instructions that are used in classic knitting, but knit and purl stitches the Eastern way. Happy knitting :-)

I have a sweater which has 2x2 rib sleeves and bottom hem. Both sleeves and bottom hem are worn out. I took several rows out. Those exposed loops are at the bottom of 2x2 rib. The four loops include one knit, one purl, and two half knit half purl loops at each side of the knit loop. They can't be separated into two groups: knit and purl like at the top of the 2x2 rib so that they can be sewn together using the invisible bind off method. Do you have any suggestions how to weave them back? Thank you very much.

Those half stitches are always tricky to deal with. When we pick up stitches and work in ribbing, the ribbing will be shifted by half-a-stitch no matter how careful we are. There are two main ways to avoid this issue. The first way is to undo the whole cuff, pick up stitches of the main stitch pattern and re-knit the cuff in ribbing. The other way is to pick up stitches at the bottom of the cuff, work one or more rows/rounds in garter stitch or other basic stitch pattern and bind off stitches. Happy knitting!

How do you handle the last stitch(es) of this bind off, I would love to have seen the row completed, is there a video showing that? Thank you!

Hi Andrea, there is nothing tricky about the last stitches. Simply repeat the steps described in this tutorial until you have only one stitch left. Cut the yarn and pass the tail through the last stitch the same way as we do when we use the regular bind off method. Happy knitting!
