I think the word you're looking for is encapsulate. That means to completely cover something. You're able to encapsulate the nail tape since none of it was sticking out from the nail. I hope this helps! The nails are beautiful. :)

This would look really good if you just used matte on the purple colors from the second striping tape line and left the purple in-between the tape and the center clear glitter section glossy. Hope that makes sense.
