Thanks so much. The headache that never goes away isn't something that can be cured with medication or treatment. This abdominal pain should be something that does go away or correctly treated. 🤞 I love makeup, and I have this KZbin channel because it's one of the things that brings me so much joy. So much! So sorry you are dealing with this pain. I know how you feel. I was an active woman with a career as a RN and got lyme disease and wasn't properly diagnosed for 2 years. It ravaged my spine, joints , heart and brain. I have had chronic pain for over 10 years. My heart has improved with new medications but nothing else has. Please just keep the faith that science will keep progressing . I have always loved makeup and it makes me happy. I love your channel! Keep up the great work and know so many of us are here with you .😇🙏

Cindy, I'm so sorry to hear that you're dealing with chronic pain from Lymes Disease. That's terrible. I'm glad that you've had some meds that help, but I'm hopeful that there will continue to be new options for treatment. Thanks so much for your kind words. I do keep faith in science. Thanks so much! I've been loving the Golden palette, and it's been creating such easy 2 shadow looks. I wish I wasn't used to dealing with pain, but after 19 years of chronic pain, at least I know how to pace myself, and what to ask my doctors. I've learned to live with it, but I'm hoping my appointment on the 11th will be just what I need to help with the extra layer of pain from the abdominal tubing. For the summer I like something light on the skin like the skin tint by LE, a coral blush or a bronzer as blush, something bronze/gold on the eyes or a colourful eyeliner and mascara, and something bronze glossy on the lips

What a great video - so much to unpack here. First off, I sure hope you get resolution to your pain issues. Man, I know how that feels. Had a trampoline accident 45 yrs ago that still haunts my body - broke my foot in 2021 and between those two events I know what chronic pain is. Dr Google.. LOLOL omg right! ok...now to the fun stuff- That gold pallet is beautiful. I have been eyeing that, as gold does look great on brown eyes. I also was thrilled to see I have the same big brushes and am now going to try using them for bronzer...love LOVE using tools for different make up applications like that. My go to summer routine has recently been the no make up make up look - a swatch a color like a liner, mascara and then a bold lip - been enjoying that and its easy and has staying power while I try not to melt here in the dry heat.

I'm sorry to hear your familiar with chronic pain. That's not good. I hope things are better for you these days. I hope the pain isn't still lingering in a way that keeps you from your daily life. Dr. Google is helpful in many ways to me, but I always bounce things off my family to make sure I'm not going down a panicked rabbit hole. I tend not to read the lay person's explanations, but medical journal articles and research papers. I do all my research on google scholar. I want to be reading what Drs. are reading. Then I can ask my physicians and my family members specific questions about what I'm dealing with. I love the no makeup makeup look on my non filming days. I'll even go without makeup if I'm really tired or have a busy day and don't have time for makeup. As for the big powder brush, I love using something like that with cream products that aren't too pigmented. That Makeup by Mario skin enhancer is so soft and easy. The About Face blush isn't too pigmented. I wouldn't go into some of my other products with a brush that large unless I was sure it was very sheer, and I wouldn't be picking up too much. I love how quickly they diffuse the edges of my cream products so I don't have to work as hard. I absolutely hate that you are going through all this. I really hope you feel better. Maybe a surgery will fix it all. I wouldn't want to but you can't just stay in constant pain. Lisa, thanks so much for your kind words. I'm also exhausted of being in constant pail that could potentially be fixed. I know the constant head pain I deal with isn't fixable, so I'll take what I can get from my pain doctor for my abdominal pain. : ) I don't have any of the ND mini palettes, but I do love an edited story for the days that I'm in a hurry and need to get get going quickly. I reach for my viseart quads, the ones from Beauty Pie or a single shadow. I'm really loving my collection right now. Thanks so much for making the time to watch.

I am so very sorry you are suffering. Thank you for sharing your journey. I think it helps others who are struggling fell less alone. I received the Golden palette last week, I was afraid it would be too warm, but it works for me, I am olive overtone, cool undertone. I need easy for summer. I keep reaching for my Laura Geller baked foundation, blush and bronzer. Also her sparkle hydrate primer. Melting here in Florida, it we are used to it. I’m very heat tolerant and very cold intolerant.

I've been super impressed with the Maybelline 2 in 1 brow styler for an easy, fast look that not too harsh. I also love that it's drugstore and affordable. Beautiful look! I enjoy tubing mascara & have a Hemish volume waiting in the wings - ordered after hearing good feedback. Doing my best to first use up either the Hourglass, Thrive, or Milani that are already open. We’ll see how long my patience lasts! You must have incredible strength to deal with everything you have going on physically while still being a wife, mom, and content creator. I hope your pain is remedied soon!

I am just out of 7 week rehab for fractured wrist and shoulder and feeling sorry for myself about PT and pain … but nothing like what you’re suffering. I as a fellow fair skin gal (even fairer 😂) ❤ the Skin Enhancer! I just bought the liquid serum in light and love it mixed into my foundation. I don’t really care for the color as bronzer because although the light shade in the enhancer is a gorgeous bronze shade for fair skin, in the serum the shade is slightly grayish. But it is really beautiful mixed with foundation.

I hope you got some answers you needed and things are moving forward in a positive productive direction for you I want you to know you are seen 🤝 on a fun note I haven’t been able to put down the golden palette all summer either 😆☺, also I almost bought the LE eyeliners till I watched some reviews including yours and saw that multiple people were saying the didn’t set well and since I want the for my waterline and tightline I realized they are likely not the right formula so thanks ☺

I'm glad that you didn't pick up the LE liners for your waterline/tightline. I feel like there are better options out there. I personally like the ones from Persona, and I've been reaching for them quite a lot recently. Graphite and Bronze are my favorite fun colors. They're also so much more affordable than LE. (I think they're $16-$18 each) I have a plan of attack for my chronic pain, but I'm still dealing with more pain than I'd like. That's ok, I'm finally getting a grip on my mental health, and that's helped a lot. Things got bad leading up to my surgery last summer, and continued to get worse due to the post surgical pain. I'm feeling more hopeful now, and that's what I needed. BTW, the ND Golden palette is still in heavy rotation here along with some Sydney Grace palettes because the christmas in july sale is coming up and I'm excited. Thanks for watching today!

@@thelipstickgal the persona ones are my current go to … stone and graphite are my everyday must haves and brown ( which on me is more of a black / brown ) is my go to glam eyeliner I do find I have to warm them up on my hand before I apply them or they are dry but that’s all, Yes having a plan to move forward makes a huge difference in the mental health aspect of chronic health concerns I’m glad to know that you have that, Yes I saw the new SG releases 😀

Actually it's the 110. I think it's the "concealer brush" but I liked that it was a little bit bigger than the 108. I liked it so much, I purchased another one so I always have a clean one!

I agree. There's usually a point where doctors can't get us back to our previous "normal" place/state. I know that, but I'll take any help I can get with minimizing my daily pain. I do need to cut back on sugar and be more active. Activity will be hard until I get this abdominal pain taken care of. I can't even walk through a grocery store without excruciating pain. It's been a hard 10 month, but I'm still hopeful. Thanks so much for your thoughtful words, and making the time to watch.

Pseudotumor cerebri and IIH are the same thing 😘. Just leaving this comment as I think in the US they tend to default towards therapies that result in monetary gain (acetazolamide prescription and CSF diversion depending on severity), and may neglect explaining how dietary modifications and muscle training result in a different hormonal environment that cures this problem. Thus improving your IIH so you don’t need a shunt anymore would be so much better than having to place another shunt, instead of just removing this one, with all the risks entailed. Also the lifespan of shunts is limited and many fail after a few years. I’m sure you know this, but just in case it gives you more information to be empowered. I hope your doctors find the best option for you to stop the pain ❤

As I was editing this, I realized I said IIH instead of mentioning my pituitary adenomas. I know that IIH and pseudotumor cerebri are the same thing. I have Chiari type 1, IIH/pseudotumor cerebri, 2 pituitary adenomas, and a pineal cyst. I also have syringomyelia in the spine. It's a lot of neuro stuff. I know being overweight is tied to my IIH; I really struggle to lose weight. I wish it was easier for me. I'm especially struggling now since I'm not nearly as mobile as I used to be due to the distal catheter pain in my peritoneum. I never had the option to have the shunt placed or not. I was in the neuro ICU with a brain infection, and my intracranial pressure was sky high. When they took me into surgery the neurosurgeon decided that placing a shunt was the best way to help with the pressure. I've had it since my brain infection in 2017. I'm now dealing with slit ventricle syndrome, and there's a lot of protein and tissue that gets stuck in the ventricular catheter and gets lodged in the pump. I've had 3 devices placed in less than 6 year. I'm really informed about my brain conditions, and know my chart like the back of my hand. I tend to read a lot of neuro journal articles about my conditions. The seroma/pseudocyst is the new wrinkle in this saga. I hope to have this resolved sooner than later. Thanks so much for making the time to give me helpful advice. I really appreciate it. I don't know if they'd ever remove my shunt. I've asked about it before, and my neuro team doesn't think it's a good thing to do. I'd love to be shunt free, but I'm not sure that's in the cards for me now. Oh my god, I am so sorry you are going through all of this!! 😢 That is a lot, and sounds like a delicate situation with the shunt and the syringomyelia! I hope you have a good endocrinologist making sure the hormones are not contributing to the pressure for example with hypothyroidism from the adenoma. If they think you have IIH on top of that, and told the usual helpful “lose some weight” it helps me seeing this condition as a metabolic problem caused by the standard western diet surrounding us, so try to do everything to declare the war to the food industry that pushes this to us, and love myself a lot in the process. You are gorgeous and wonderful. Please forgive my misinformed advice, just comes from a wish to help somehow. I hope they do what is best for you to get better ❤

@@Cicelyize I see a wonderful endocrinologist for my Hashimoto's thyroiditis. My neuro pain specialist is wonderful as is my neurosurgeon. Even my primary care doctor is fantastic. I have an amazing team covering all aspects of my medical treatment. It's fairly involved, but I keep as up to date on it as possible. Thanks for the encouragement, and have a wonderful day!

I guess I am a summer late lol last year was Barbie summer I am thinking about getting a rose gold pink hair mask lol! … I am loving my neutral pinks Mario neutrals eyeshadow pallet Mario smokey pink liner with the CT pillow talk in the skinny gold tube is the best shade it’s the perfect neutral nude pink its shiny and like the kissing lipsticks it’s not at all like Pillow talk matte (no!🤣) with my NARS BEHAVE blush gorgeous!!!! I just ordered that givenchy powder so I hope that solves my too dewy issues 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤣🤣🤣 so I can wear the foundations I love but I get too oily looking …. I ordered the SHISHEDO foundation to try too I really love this MISSHA CHOBOYANG it lasted all day at the lake so did NARS LR … they look too dewy ….. also love my veiled rose ROM&ND Glasting melting balm … on the lake cruising trying not to get any sun LOL!!!! In a giant hat and my SPF jacket 🤣🤣🤣

I just picked up the NARS blush in Behave and another light shade. I'm excited to try them. I love the Shiseido Synchro Skin Dewy formula. I haven't tried the new formula in the white bottle they released last year, but I'm up to my eyeballs in foundation. I also just ordered the new CT stick foundation. We'll see how it goes.

Recommend I have some IT cosmetics ones from Ulta i should probably try lol I just been using some cheap Amazon ones

I don't know. I don't live in a humid place. Have you checked out Stephanie Maire's channel? She's a content creator who's about my age and lives in New Orleans. She's always testing foundations in humidity and has a huge foundation wear test playlist. She's who I'd check with for suggestions about foundations for mature skin and humidity.
