Easy T-shirt Dress

These are the kinds of sewing projects I did when I was first learning to sew. Thought it would be fun to revisit them and make my grand girls some cute Valentine dresses to boot!

When my grand daughters were young, I made t-shirt dresses for them 😊. They were always twirly dresses and they loved them. Great memory and cute dress that you made.

I love these, never seen them before. My 4 yr old granddaughter is going to get at least 1. Saves all the dress making, which I am not great at. Thank you for sharing, followed you for years making cards and folios, so glad you are now sharing your sewing and quulting. God bless you Maymay ❤

Oh darn it! My only granddaughter is too old for this, and I’m pretty sure my 3 grandsons wouldn’t appreciate this cuteness. I’ll have to adopt me a little girl and make her cute clothes. Love it, MayMay!! 💕💕

So cute! I started watching your videos in 2015, and I would talk to you and tell you I was not a card maker. I loved your tips and teaching for use in artwork and Scripture journaling. Hey Hey Hey Maymay…..I know it’s me the ‘ol Klutz but sumpin’ came to my mind and here it is…..Now …. As you know I’m 81…..sooooo you’ve done something I’ve never ever have seen before and it’s create a T-shirt dress….i mean I’m totally blown away and I’ve never thought of doing this and I was. WAS a sewer many years ago and made jeans and all kinds of intricate pieces of clothing so girl (again) have totally blown me away you are so talented and can’t thank you enough for sharing your sewing via video. zigzag over crochet twine to gather! SEW much easier & the string will come right out! Great project!

I used to love Piece Goods! But I actually worked for a time at Hancock Fabrics and also sewed demos. I made no money working there, as I spent most of it on fabric. Lol

My mom called that a flat felt seam. It’s the same as the seam on blue jeans.

So cute! I got the sewing bug watching you! I been a Maymay made it for years and so happy proud and blessed to be. If possible can you tell me the model of your Singer sewing machine and is that an addition you put on your machine to have a larger work space. My machine is a singer 9960 quantum stylist, it came with the extension table. I am looking to upgrade in the coming months for a few more bells and whistles but this machine is lovely.
