@@TheBarberPhil I agree it creates a disconnected haircut on one side and looks A-symmetrical. Not a square shape which is more esthetically appealing. it’s usually the Jits that want that look anyway 😂

I agree 100% with you, I always hated when they would just run the clipper to the hard part, I always wanted some hair that I can comb down with a combover to the side

Couldn’t agree more about keeping weight below the part. Luckily we don’t really get requests to go shorter in the uk but even if my client was adamant they wanted it taken down, I’d cut with the square shape first & let them decide then

Which comb exactly, the flat top comb I used for clipper over comb? That is the Oster Flat top comb. It’s thicker than the Andis flat top comb.
