The tutorial starts good but then starts skipping over details when it comes to the complex sewing. I ended up making a zipper on the center torso flap, like w/e, 10:18 I really don't understand what she tried to do there.

This happens because of the size of the character you are trying to put cloths on. For example my character is an Unreal character so its fairly small. Sorry if that was confusing I can try to word it different if you are confused :-D
