This is paleo/whole30 if you replace soy sauce with coconut aminos. This recipe sounds delish. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like a great weeknight dinner. I marinated my chicken thighs earlier this evening. I checked laurainthekitchen.com for the recipe but could not find it. Has it been posted yet? I winged the marinade and figure I can do the same with the rest of the recipe and the broccoli tomorrow. Thank you for a great healthy meal idea.

I am really into Mushroom soya sauce right now, it doesn't jump out at you with mushroom flavour but it's a little thicker in texture and a deeper flavour. Really great weeknight meal - All the best!

What’s a good sub for oyster sauce?

There is not really a sub for oyster sauce, but if you have never had it, the taste is not like oysters. It gives an umami, depth of flavor, you'll never taste an oyster flavor, i hope that helps you. btw, worstcheshire sauce has anchovies in it for that umami flavor , but you never taste a fishy anchovy flavor, it just gives a depth of flavor, most folks do not know anchovies are in there. That would be my suggestion for a sub to oyster sauce, although it is not as thick as oyster sauce. I recommend lea & perrin worstcheshire sauce if you are going to sub for oyster sauce, it is the best & no other brand comes close . I hope that helps .
