It was really nice to see a video of thrift flips w/o transfers, molds and so on. I don’t mind watching people use those products. They are beautiful even if I can’t currently afford to invest in them myself. I watch a lot of creators who use them. They just sprinkle them in their videos here and there. That’s awesome for those who want to see it know about those products for the future but still have projects they can do without them. I love thrift flips and do flips myself. I’ve been thrifting and going to rummage sales, estate sales and auctions since I was knee high to a grasshopper. The benefits of being a poor kid I guess. I also thoroughly enjoy watching creators who still use their creativity to add to their flips or to create something new. I love the wood projects. For me it just becomes kind of redundant to always watch people paint, wax, use a transfer or mold and so on then call it a day. I know you mentioned that people don’t like to watch others paint. That’s not true even if they know how to do it. Most of us also know how to add wax, a transfer, stamps or molds by now as well but we still watch creators do it. I have to admit that I really truly miss seeing the things you come up with. You’re so creative. It doesn’t have to be DT items. That doesn’t matter to me. I love to see you evolve and blossom on your creative journey. We should all be constantly growing, learning and evolving in every aspect of life. I’m thrilled to see how excited you are about the hunt, rescuing amazing pieces and making them your kind of beautiful. We should all love what we do. I remember the days when you said you saved everything, wasted nothing but couldn’t afford to do a DT haul every week. I’m so glad all of that changed for you. You’ve worked hard and deserve all of your success. I know you understand those of us who cannot afford the expensive products first hand. I just know you will come up with something to keep those viewers coming back even though you have found your happy place with flips. I will always watch and love you. (I don’t watch any hauls though. It’s not my jam. Well, unless there are flips at the end. 😏)

I love the texture you used on the bird bath and candelabra and I agree, the white wax took the bird bath to the next level. I like how you left more of the brown on the upper portion of the candelabra. I haven't tried the salt wash before, only baking soda. Your husband was right to say you can do something with the pitcher. It turned out gorgeous! The white wax really brought out the detail of the wall art. All of your projects turned out beautiful! I always enjoy watching thrift flips. I'm so impressed with people like you who can transform things. I have trouble flipping myself because I just don't have the vision of what something could be. I usually end up buying I sorta like, and then I get scared to change it because I like it already. 🤪 I suppose my strategy should be to find something I think is ugly then take the plunge to change it.😆

Oh my gosh I am in love with that bird bath I totally would put it into a big bird bath and turn it into a fountain there is already a hole in the bottom so it’s hollow only need to drill one hole lol isn’t it funny how us crafters think my mind goes insane at the thrift store I love thrifting pitcher and gorgeous girl and yes you inspired me To try the white wax and I got waverly I have gotten so frustrated trying to get my things to look like yours to bring out detail I have pitcher that I have tried and tried with and can’t get it to look good I gave up I did get some molds from Temu that I want to try again with and butterflies just make me happy who doesn’t smile when they see butterflies your kinda like a butterfly the way you have came out of your cocoon and you have flown and changed and grown and darn I want those iod molds I have already told me daughter I want them for my birthday in august lol Sammie you are a total inspiration thank you

Sammie I have never tried the salt wash, is there a big difference between it or just adding baking soda? I know a lot of crafters use it and I don’t want to invest in it if there’s not a noticeable difference but I’ve never heard anyone talk about it. I’ll try it if there is.
