Absolutely! You're not alone, many players face challenges in higher positions. The key is patience and consistent practice. You'll get there, and it's okay to take it one step at a time. Keep enjoying the process!

This is so good, but may I ask how do you move your finger like it's trembling but still sounds perfectly fine? I'm trying to learn the violin and I'm pretty curious how to do it because it just sounds like a dying mosquito when I try it. ;-;

Thank you very much for your kind words! It sounds like you're asking about vibrato. I like how Ray Chen compares the wrist movement during vibrato to the action of dribbling a basketball. Try it without a violin and without a ball:) Then, grab your violin and practice the wrist movement slowly without the bow. Next, place all your fingers on the string without pressing down, letting them slide as you repeat the wrist movements. Gradually increase the speed of your wrist movements while decreasing their amplitude. Finally, place one finger (I suggest starting with the 3rd finger) on the string, but don’t press too hard. Try to repeat these movements on the string. It may seem a little strange at first, but with patience and practice, you will get there. Keep up the good work and happy practicing! 😊
