I can't wait for my dipping powder kit to arrive with clear, white, pink & natural powders plus the liquids. I'm going to watch your awesome tutorial again a few times before I start it, though! I remember being very hesitant before I did my first gel manicure too - but I got it perfect on the first go and have been doing them for a while now. Powders have to be tested, though! Question. I did it this to myself, but my smile lines are different in length on some nails/each nail, how do you make sure each nail has the same length? (How do you know how far down to dip on the first application.???? ) And second question is , how do you fix up a nail where your white smile line didn’t take well (or from maybe from me over filing it off)

I noticed you didn't apply the activator until after filing but all of the instructions say apply activator then file. But really this way makes more sense

I thought the exact same thing. Activator hardens the powder before filing. I wonder if not activating makes filing easier. Plus she didn't use a clear over the top. Interesting

Yes. It drys all by itself. But you could use a gel topcoat if you wish, I do.

Wash the nails with water to remove the residue. And the top coat brush will stay clean.
