I play Unholy since WOTLK, and i hope DK will be the next Class to get a rework. Unholy has too much baseline stuff in the tree and wounds are just a bad and clunky mechanic that needs to be remove entirely while Frost just feels outdated.

@@unknownmonkey8661 Yup, Unholy always had a lot of cooldowns but back in the day we had a faster GCD from unholy presence which made it smoother. Not to mention they wanted to combin Apocalypse and Dark Transformation into 1 but there were crybabies that meant it would dumb down the spec -.-

I’m glad I’m not the only one feeling this way. Dk was one of my first favorite classes to play just off of class fantasy etc. frost was fun with all the procs and the frost theme of the abilities. But god unholy feels so clunky and not like the class fantasy. At times it feels like a range class with spreading plagues etc as opposed to a melee based class. I get excited to play and watch these guides, but once I’m in the middle of it, I’m just bummed out and want to play someone more fun.

@@AngryPaisan I loved Unholy from WotlK until WoD, with the legion rework i started to hate it. I was a fast paced spec revolving about diseases with enhanced GCD and movement speed, now it feels like a bad wannabe necromancer.

UH does great in most fights this tier...but feels lackluster in M+ because so many other specs have much better front loaded dmg with no ramp. So everything is dead before you can really do damage in anything less than a 20.

Play Clawing Wounds, blame tank for small pulls or key too low if not top damage. Simple math :)

@@thegrim_1 This was a month ago before two rounds of UH buffs. UH still isn't topping the meters because it has to ramp. Same as Boomy and Shadow. Too many specs are front loaded, I'm 3k, Thanks for the useless tip.

@@PocketZombi That's odd. I'm not too far behind you in rating although I must admit I haven't tried very hard. Regardless I see several DKs who are beating Rogues and coming close to DHs on WCL for M+. I'd suspect that if I dive deeper into those logs I'd see that front-loaded classes aren't the issue, and that UH actually falls off in sustained ST boss fights during the run. Anyway, glad I could help.

@@thegrim_1 UH does great single target, and when you have all your cds it's solid as well. It's when you only have your 45sec CDs and you've got a DH/Ret/Fury in your group who don't rely on them to pump. It's in a good spot overall, leagues better than frost.

Quick guide: Spam deathcoil 24/7. Lol. For real though, unholy feels pretty bad nowadays with how much deathcoil spam there is. Wouldnt be bad if deathcoil wasnt such a dated animation and sfx. Feels bad to push, and yet many talents are designed around such a bad spell. I've always said it would be cooler to have your single target runic dump be summoning a skeletal archer or something for like 6 seconds. Be cool to run around having a small pack of archers shooting off volleys, and there would be lots of flexibility in talents to improve them, like "equip your archers with crossbows; make their arrows dipped in rot poison; their arrows now ricochet, etc." Thanks for the vid!

You are right no doubt and the dump idea sounds pretty cool actually, feeding more into that fantasy of controlling an undead scourge. Have a feelin' Blizz has DK on the table for a rework, fingers crossed :)

I have 460 iLvL and I barely cross 100K DPS. I am not the best at rotations but even when I do everything perfectly I can't go over 115-120K which is just sad
