Easy Trail Bike Ride in Mojave Desert NV | Luna Cycle X1 EMTB

In this video my Lady Lawyer rides a few green trails located in the Southwest Ridge trail system of the Mojave desert, outside of Las Vegas Nevada. My lady is just beginning her journey into riding single track, dirt, MTB trails and this 11 mile ride was her best ride so far. Being a full time lawyer and mom, doesn't leave her much time to ride. So, I'm pretty proud of her for pushing harder and harder on every ride.

We both are riding 2021 Luna Cycle X1 Enduro electric mountain bikes. My bike is has Ludicrous mode upgrade to 2,0000 watts. Her Luna X1 is stock with 1,2000 watts. As you can see this two bikes have no problem with this desert terrain.

THE BIKE RIDEZ STORY & MISSION :
We are Ebike Explorers! This is a channel about electric mountain bike riding for regular people. We are not hardcore mountain bike riders (yet). If you are looking to see trail videos where the riders drop off 8,000 ft mountains at 45° angles you are in the wrong place (at least for now). We are full-time professionals who live in Henderson Nevada which is about 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Most of the videos you will see on this channel feature bike trails around the Las Vegas valley. Although we were avid bike riders before, the change to ebikes (EMTB) has opened up a whole new world of exploration and adventure for which we hope you will join us. Side note: Although we thoroughly love riding our e-mountain bikes for exercise and adventure, bike riding is our primary form of meditation and stress relief. Our bike rides allow for a few hours without our laptops, and without our phones where we can stay focused on being in the moment. Just like meditation and yoga, when we bike ride, we focus on our breathing, we push our bodies to feel more, and, we get to see some of the most spectacular scenic landscapes, sunsets and wildlife that the Mojave dessert has to offer.Whether you are a Las Vegas local or visiting from any where in the world, our hope is that with these videos we will encourage you to take advantage of the extensive Nevada bike trail system.

I’m a snake lover so I’m always looking hard for any snake. In every instance I’ve seen a snake while riding, the snake was always crossing a paved trail. Just follow basic rules, if you step off the trail, watch where you step. Reptiles will sun themselves in early morning the most so you are more likely to encounter then.

What kind of bikes you riding? Is that a Luna?

Yes we both are riding Luna Cycle X1's. I have the Ludi update on my bike. Unfortunately, we bought are bikes right before the updated to the X2 and we were not aware a new model was coming. We will likely upgrade again next year when a new model is released.

Considering buying X2. Hope a X3 isn't about to be released. Well it's kind of pointless to hold off for the next version of anything. Best to buy now and enjoy. I'll stop by the Luna showroom after work tomorrow. Lucy to live nearby. I can buy assembled and adjusted for me. Seems like the best bang for the buck eMTB company.
