We were mad that we were gated from higher placement on the leader boards and lesse access the Logan because we didn't whale, AND THEIR RESPONSE IS TO REWARD THOSE WHO DID WHALE MORE! I’m level 90, f2p. I went back into the game to try the trick to unlock OML. You said most people should be able to unlock him, so I figured I would. Nope. As a f2p I can’t really level up & gear up my entire roster. I’m stuck trying to unlock Apocalypse, so OML can wait with Super Skrull & Mephisto as characters I may get before I die.

Scopely just needs to make a good event. A event that benefits everybody, and that everybody can participate in. They've managed to change history and piss off everybody, not just free to play. Big loss on scopelys part with such an anticipated event and such a beloved character

Also doable at difficulty 14 with following mods applied with minimal effect to the actual matchup, from my experience: Godspeed Spider-man, Berserker Barrage, Forged in Fire, World at War. Took me 3 attacks, as a level 94 without apoc, and total score comes out to just over 1.1mil getting you the 4 yellow star OML

I did one node to unlock - used some scourges on diff 4 and got OML unlocked about 6 hours after the event was released. So good.

Do it with all modifiers on for that 1 red star on Logan. I used gamma first and then my 950k S-society

I just went on a blind attempt to get OML with Sinister Six (GGC, Lizard, Vulture, Mysterio, and Doc Ock.), and they all worked. So if you didn't invest in Spider Society, this specific Combination will work. Abuse Mysterio's Blind + ability block, Doc's Ult, and GGC's Trauma to keep the enemies from doing ANYTHING)

I’m a medium spender I guess. I’ll buy new characters, depending on who it is, and buy the 50 shards for $5 deals. Occasionally I’ll buy various cheap deals on gear pieces or training mats. I know I’ll never place anywhere on the leaderboards, so I don’t even bother worrying about them.

I used all the scourges on 15. Cleaned out first wave with 1.2mil New Warriors, then took about 45 minutes clearing the rest of the node with 1.5mil Sinister/Superior Six (Vulture, Ock, GG Classic, Lizard, Mysterio).

They got to take a few turns, almost always under Blind/Ability Block, but there were a few times when one of the PEGASUS team got off an unstoppable ultimate, and my team was JUST beefy enough to survive. Only Lizard was dead at the end, and that happened in the last wave with an alpha strike from Maria Hill spawns that slipped through.

I feel like I'm the only one that is "whatever" with all this. I'm 100% free to play. Most scourges I only got the 4-star unlock. I think Black Cat and Green Goblin were the only ones I got 5+ stars on because they weren't needed for something important. Like how the horsemen were needed for Apocalypse and Old Man Logan is needed for Professor X. Black Cat and Green Goblin were just REALLY good characters. That's it. But everything else, I had to settle on the 4-star unlock and wait for the scourge to return. Even all legendaries before scourges were introduced to the game, I could only get to the 3-star or 4-star node. I had to wait for the second time to unlock the character. Plus on the second time, I could possibly get the legendary to 6-stars. Then the third time the legendary character's event came around, I could finish things off. Maybe once or twice I had to wait until the fourth time. But this whole Old Man Logan thing is nothing new. And I know. I'm a Launch Day player. I've been there since the beginning. I think people just want a reason to whine, complain, and feel entitled. Me, I just shrug it off and say, "whatever." And no I don't work for the developers or anything or some bot. I just know what to expect and what I'm limited to. And at least I get to unlock Old Man Logan (which I did, and through the hard way instead of the trick that was mentioned in the video, I earned my Old Man Logan instead of "cheating"). If things were still the old ways before we got legendaries through scourges, then I'd just have a 3 or 4-star Old Man Logan, but he wouldn't be unlocked. I'd have to complete the 5-star node to actually unlock him. But nothing is different. I don't get why everyone is making such a big deal about this. I guess everyone forgot how we unlocked Iron Man, Star-Lord, and Nick Fury. It was the same way back then. Only no scourge, and we had to wait for the 5-star node. If not, try again when the event comes around again in 4-6 months.

It depend how you play the game in F2P. I'm F2P and i always had 6y4r with the original scourge. Yeah for you it not change, for me it's a slap ^^. And why always take the worst and say "It was worst before". Yeah but Original scourge was 100% better ^^. And for me only nick fury and phoenix was a mess. All legendary first day unlock (5ys against 4 here). So for me only Nick fury and phoenix was worst.

You can get a 1.625 Mil score on level 15 with the bottom 4 mods turned on. That at least gets you 1 red star for OML. I used a team of Kang,Dormammu,Sersi,Ikaris,and Deathpool level 100.

I give up, I dont have the teams strong enough to beat this I can,t get passed cosmic bio because I don't have good enough characters with that tag and I can't do the one node method because I spent all my resource trying to level up 30 characters instead of just focusing on one team. I just got to level 85 so I could get a couple teams high enough to do it but I don’t want to anymore now, I worked so hard to get teams I need leveled up to beat this only to be stuck because I don’t have super Skrull or nova or knowhere unlocked, this one broke me I am not going to try anymore for this stuff I am just going to work on improving my roster and be strictly free to play. No more battle passes or strike passes and I am not sweating these events anymore. It's not fun for me. I do think its cool that people are getting old man logan though I just don't care anymore

Doesn't anyone remember the old way to unlock legendaries??? You need a 5 star team to unlock a 5 star legendary. This is a way scopely thought of that uses scourges but dabbles in the old way they used to. You need a 6 star team to have a chance at 6 star and possibly 7. Yeah it is quite a requirement because there wasn't a lot of options to unlock but I feel like the 5 star requirement at least can be justified.

Everyone is so upset about not getting over 4 star on a LEGENDARY day one. Id love to see them hop on over to swgoh, where you cant even unlock a legendary day 1 without spending. Theyare legendary for a reason, you should have to build and work to get them over time if you don't whale. Whales keep the game running, so it makes sense that they can get 4, 5, 6, even 7 ys day one and F2P can not
