Today I detail how you can use duct tape to become a faster athlete in 5 minutes or less of training time.
About Project 21
Project 21 is dedicated to achieving two ambitious sprinting goals: 10.4 seconds in the 100m and 21 seconds in the 200m. These times will qualify me for national competitions and place me in the England Athletics Senior Development Programme. This series is about more than my own progress; it’s designed to inspire and equip you with insights, training, and motivation to elevate your sprinting game.
What to Expect in my Videos
Sprinting Techniques: Essential mechanics, from starts to acceleration.
Effective Workouts: Exercises designed to boost speed and endurance.
Strength and Conditioning: Key gym moves that enhance power and resilience.
I aim to make sprinting accessible, whether you’re a seasoned sprinter or just getting started.
My Sprinting Journey
Through the series Operation Paris (2023/24), I’ve shared my journey to personal bests, including struggles with injuries and the mental grit required to overcome them. Now, Project 21 (2024/25+) builds on those lessons as I train toward my fastest times yet.

Jevon, this is a really interesting film. I've watched loads of "How to" videos on starts but have never seen this approach before - it works on so many levels. Kudos sir, and thanks to your volunteer.

Thanks dude, I will start doing this also. Should it be further when using spikes and also if you land way ahead of you hips you won't be fast.

Im still teaching her how to properly engage her hips and hit the right angles, the distance is correct but her approach is wrong, but once she fixes that, it will be better🔥🔥🔥

The distance stays the same regardless of shoes, but one step behind the line is good for 2 points since its closer to accurate distancing in blocks🔥🔥🔥

This is wrong / useless! You can't expect to run faster just be increasing stride length. It's all about how much force or better impulse an athlete generates. Just focusing on step length will result in overstriding longer contact times and slower times! Moving the COM horizontally is the ultimate goal. But Not landing further in front.. 😢

correct which is exactly why you need to teach the athlete to apply more force to displace the hip directly above the next step instead of reaching for the next step and overstriding. Everything is about FORCE not stride length, but to produce more force you need to push and that creates a longer stride length. Giving this to an athlete without any explanation won't do much, but teach them how to push and it does a lot for velocity🔥🔥🔥
