quick tip for those without/ doesn't want to use prime sure footed to stop getting stomped by thumper , unairu's first node gives you 40secs of 100% knockdown and stagger resist for just transfering in and out of op mode.

This has been patched; "Fixed a bug with Trinity's Well of Life and self-stagger-inducing weapons that allowed Thumpers in the Plains of Eidolon to be one-shot. In order to address this bug, the Well of Life wisps will no longer spawn from self-staggering and as an additional precaution to prevent similar issues from occurring, they now negate 5% (previously 10%) of the maximum Health of non-ability immune bosses (non-boss targets still receive 10%). While we understand this may have been a popular way to use the ability, the interaction with certain boss units, such as Thumpers, allowed players to bypass the intended gameplay loops that make these units challenging in comparison to standard enemies." So they want the enemies to be challenging but everyone hates trumpers so now instead of fighting an enemy they designed they made sure no ones going to bother even looking at a thumper past the few needed for story, that's nice.

It hasn’t been patched. You have to stand close enough to the Tusk Thumper for the explosions to hit you. Sometimes it requires you to cast well of life on them a few times for it to work. Cast > Spam thrown daggers > cast > spam thrown daggers

This hasn’t been nerfed or fixed lol. I have done this quite recently.
