After working with watercolors for a while now i regret to say i really dont like the half-pan where the colors are. One cant work with the brushes in them , it soo waste . Cost a lot of money and annoying as much. I definitely will start with ordering Tubes ..

I’ve been a collage lover for years. I love how your paintings turned out. My favorite paper is rice paper for collage. Canson is send for many of my cards. Special projects, I use Arches.

Yes I love it. I have a bunch of rice paper and calligraphy paper. I’m planning to gelli print a nice stash of both.

Kory: I loved this. Amazon has Prima WC sets but their descriptions are a little hard to read.....I ordered (and had to send back one) complexion set. Wish Amazon had more of them. They are easy to pack and travel with. JudiM

Great question. I talk about it at the beginning. I’m making these to scan and print, then use in collage on thinner paper. Thick watercolor paper is always a challenge with collage. 😊

I am enjoying your muted earthy palette. Your papers came out nice. I do the same with things I make. Scan them and then print to use over and play with scale. I love collage. It's my happy place. I haven't done enough to get into it to sell anything but I just enjoy the tearing up of different papers and rearranging and gluing down. Starting to be more aware and concerned with composition. At first it was just enough to play and learn which types of papers I enjoy playing with and how to work with collage to not get air bubbles and such. I'm trying to get into gelli printing. I love other peoples gelli prints but not my own. I need more practice.

Thank you Ash. (I love your name). Yes, the gelli plate can be challenging. I had a few bad sessions myself. But those papers end up great for more layering, so nothing is lost. Composition is a very big deal. I find if you stick to the basics, you can’t go wrong. Maybe I’ll make a video on composition. I’m glad your enjoying my stuff.

I love to watch what develops as you keep adding more colors or more water for more flow - Do you ever use a sealant once you finish a background? What type sealant do you suggest to use for this type of watercolor designs

Thank you Esther. I don’t use a sealant on these but if I needed to, I would use a spray top coat. Any kind of spray sealant would work. Matte or glossy. I like matte. I scan these and use laser prints for collage.
